CONSTITUTION:The picture signal obtained from an image pickup device is led to a mode selection circuit 13, and whether the picture signal is the signal of the drawing or the signal of the characters and symbols is discriminated from the comparison with the frame information stored in a memory 12 and the control block signal from a control part. These signals are sent each separately to a drawing read part 14. The signals of the characters and symbols are respectively recognized of patterns and stored as corresponding code information into a read buffer 17. On the other hand, the picture signal is recognized as drawing information as it is and is sent to the read buffer 17. Both are registered and stored in a computer system.
