Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the metal mold from which an undercut portion can be taken off easily and automatically by a method wherein an inclined piston is provided in a cavity for molding the undercut portion at the front end of a core mold. CONSTITUTION:A molded product 7 having the undercut portion 10 is formed by the mold with the cavity for the undercut portion 10 at the front end of the core mold. Then, when the moled product 7 is taken off, a piston 8 is made to go forth by air pressure with the move of a stripper plate 6 and at the same time that the molded product 7 is pushed, the undercut portion 10 is removed. Since the piston 8 is provided with an inclined angle, the undercut portion 10 can be removed automatically at the same time that the piston goes forth.
