Abstract

PURPOSE: To compensate for fluctuation of a bellows function, in a compensation device for atmospheric variation, by providing a compensating air passage with a resistance capable of adjusting sectional area of the passage.
CONSTITUTION: A variable oriffice 11 is provided on the midway of a compensating air passage 6. This is composed of an oriffice 12 and an adjusting needle 13. Now, if expansion of a bellows 10 became larger than a set value due to variation of atmospheric pressure, a gap between the needle 13 and the oriffice 12 can be diminished by operating the adjusting neelde 13 of the variable oriffice 11. By so doing, compensating air flowing through the compensating air passage 6 toward a jetting nozzle 3 becomes smaller in volume, and therefore, the optimum air-fuel ratio can be obtained. It is possible, in this mode, to compensate for fluctuation by expansion and contraction of the bellows.
