Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent an article to be conveyed from dropping in a bucket conveyor in which upper buckets without bottom at the upper side of an endless belt and lower buckets with bottom at the lower side of the endless belt by extending the side wall of the bucket with bottom to provide a cover portion thereat to thereby coat the side between the buckets arranged.
CONSTITUTION: In a bucket conveyor in which buckets 7 with bottom are fixed at suitable interval via screws 9 to an endless belt 1 rotating around upper and lower pulleys 3 and 5 and buckets 11 without bottom provided with an opening 13 at the bottom is fixed similarly at the same interval above the buckets 7, the side wall 19 of the buckets 7 with bottom and the side wall 21 of the buckets 11 without bottom are extended upwardly to thereby provide covers 15 and 17, respectively. After grain charged into a supply funnel 25 in operation is stored in an outer plate 23, it is coveyed from the respective buckets 7 and 11 into a receiving funnel 27. Since the covers 15 and 17 coat the side on the way at the buckets, the grain thus raised may not overflow sidewisely the buckets.
