Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a good coating quality by using a specific combination of a coating product transfer conveyor and an electrostatic coating device to utilize coating property due to line of electric force which electrostatic coating machine features.
CONSTITUTION: A curved section 1b smaller than semicircular shape is formed midway a conveyor 1 which transfers objects 2, 2' being coated. Inside the curved section 1b, one or more electrostatic coating machines 3, 3' capable of directional operation are installed to face the transfer conveyor 1. When the object passes through the curved section 1b, the object coating center section 2b follows track X, angled sections 2a, 2a, follow track Y. Y is located further than X so that coating efficiency is likely to reduce a little. But, line of electric force concentrates on the object angles in electrostatic coating process. Therefore, the coating thickness becomes uniform.
