Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement which enables to impress a withstand voltage testing voltage to shunt-wound fields, by the function of a changeover switch enabling to impress the withstand voltage testing voltage to the shunt-wound fields.
CONSTITUTION: In a control system for controlling operation of a compound-wound motor in which series-wound fields 3A, 4A and shunt-wound fields 3C, 4C are connected to armatures 3B, 4B and motors are connected in series or in parallel selectively by changing the connection of switches 5, 6, 7; when changeover switch 18 is switched to emergency side B, one end of shunt-wound field 4C is connected to armature circuit grounding switch 12, and starting rheostat 8 is also connected the switch 12 via shunt-wound fields 4C, 3C and changeover switch 18. In this state, either of starting resistance short-circuiting contactors 10A, 10D is closed, so that said one end of field 4C is also connected to armature 3B and series-wound field 3A. Therefore, by opening the grounding switch 12 and applying a voltage between its poles, a test voltage to ground can be applied to the motor, starting rheostat, etc.
