Claims

The main body includes a plurality of ports, a valve port communicating between the ports, and a valve seat formed at the open end of the valve port, a coil, a fixed iron core, and a plunger operated by energization of the coil. A solenoid valve comprising a solenoid provided adjacent to a solenoid, and a valve body attached to the plunger and selectively engaging the valve seat in response to operation of the plunger, wherein the plunger is hollow. The valve body is attached to the end of the plunger on the valve seat side via a fitting, and the fixed core has a stopper made of a wear-resistant, non-magnetic material that comes into contact with the end face of the valve body on the side opposite to the valve seat. A solenoid valve characterized by having a member attached thereto.
