Abstract

PURPOSE:To separate a wire harness into small parts, reduce the size of a jig table, and facilitate work by separating the wire harness into a main part and branched parts. CONSTITUTION:The part with diagonal lines is a main part 1 of a wire harness, having a branching part 1', from which it is branched to a plurality of wire bundles, and each wire bundle has a connector 1a-1e at the terminal part for an electric connecting device. These connectors 1a-1e are engaged with connectors 2a'-2e' connected at the root parts of branched parts 2a-2e, and at the terminal of each branched part 2a-2e is connected a connector 3. On a jig table 5, only the main part 1 of the wire harness is necessary to be produced. The jig table 5 can thus be smaller than conventional, so production work is facilitated, and work time is also reduced because the branched parts 2a-2e are not on it.

However, in the above-mentioned wire harness, it is necessary to increase the number of branches as the number of electrical components mounted on a vehicle increases. As the number of branches increases, the jig stand 11
There was a problem in that it was necessary to increase the size of the wire harness, making it difficult to manufacture the wire harness.

In addition, regarding one car type (in the case of automobiles, they are usually called by the same car name), there are differences in the format such as pan, sedan, etc.
There are dozens of types, depending on the destination and grade, from high class to low class. If we were to manufacture separate wire harnesses for each of these,
I can't stand the complexity in terms of work and management. Therefore, in order to reduce the number of types of wire harnesses, one type of vehicle is usually divided into several groups, and even if there are some differences, one type of wire harness is reused within the same group. When used in this manner, depending on the type of vehicle, there may be an unused connector like 10f shown in FIG. 4. The connector 10f is connected to the branch 1 of the wire harness so as not to interfere with the wiring.
0c with tape 6 (Fig. 5). However, doing this will not only make some parts of the wire harness thicker, but also
It also becomes a waste of work. Furthermore, even lower-class types require the same number of man-hours as upper-class types, resulting in a lot of waste.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a main body of a wire harness with an electrical connector attached to each of a plurality of terminal parts, a base end connected to the electrical connector, and one or more terminal parts connected to each of the wire harnesses. A wire harness consisting of a branch section of a wire harness provided with an electrical connector connected to an external device, which selectively connects to a plurality of connection terminals of the electrical connector connected to the terminal section of the main body. Accordingly, it is possible to selectively attach a plurality of types of branch parts to the terminal part of the same main body.
