(発明の効果)
本発明に適用される蓮子草、草霊芝、鎖陽よりの抽出エ
キスを含有する発毛・青毛促進料は下記の表−1に示す
マウスの毛成長の密度を測定する試験法王において他の
発毛・青毛促進料と言われている物質と比較して顕著な
効果が示された。これは前記生薬よりの抽出エキスの成
分が毛根を刺激し、毛根周囲の血行をより盛んにし、代

としてのビタミンEを2重量%含有させた 99.5%
エタノール溶液、B、C,Dはそれぞれ蓮子草、草霊芝
、鎖陽のメタノール抽出により得られた抽出エキスを5
重量%含有させた99.5%エタノール溶液、Eはコン
トロールとしての99.5%エタノール溶液である。
次に臨床試験例を示す。
例 1
試料として蓮子草抽出エキスを2重量%含有させた99
.5%エタノール溶液を用いた。
後頭部に直径3 ctnの脱毛部位を有する年令44才
の女性の円形脱毛症患者に検体を1日1回、1回に3〜
5g塗布したところ、約3ケ月後には脱毛部位に短いう
ぶ毛を生じ、6ケ月後には硬毛となり脱毛部位は消失し
た。
例 2
試料として鎮陽抽出エキスと草霊芝抽出エキスを1:1
、の比率で混合したものを2重量%含有させた99.5
%エタノール溶液を用いた。

頭頂部及び側頭部にそれぞれ2.5Cmの脱毛部位を有
する年令36オの男性の円形脱毛症患者に検体を1日1
回、1回に3〜59塗布したところ、3ケ月後頭頂部及
び側頭部の脱毛部位にうぶ毛を生じ、6ケ月後には硬毛
を生じたが完治までには至らなかった。
例1、例2ともに6ケ月間の連続塗布による皮膚障害は
全く認められなかった。
