Claims (2)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 親局から送信されてきた原稿を一旦受信
し、その後、この受信原稿を前記親局により指定された
孫局に中継送信する機能を有するファクシミリ装置にお
いて、親局で原稿に付加される送信元情報の副走査方向
の幅を親局との間で行われるファクシミリ通信前処理よ
り抽出する抽出手段と、この抽出手段により抽出された
親局で付加される送信元情報の幅と本ファクシミリ装置
で原稿に付加される送信元情報の副走査方向の幅とを比
較する比較手段と、この比較手段により親局で付加され
る送信元情報の幅が本装置で付加される送信元情報の幅
よりも大きいと判断された場合、受信原稿から親局の送
信元情報を削除した後、この削除した部分に本装置の送
信元情報を付加して前記原稿を孫局に送信する第1の送
信元情報付加手段と、前記比較手段により親局で付加さ
れる送信元情報の幅が本装置で付加される送信元情報の
幅よりも小さいと判断された場合、受信原稿の前記親局
の送信元情報が付加されている部分に本装置の送信元情
報を重ね書きして前記原稿を孫局に送信する第2の送信
元情報付加手段とを具備したことを特徴とするファクシ
ミリ装置。

る幅情報送信手段を具備したことを特徴とするファクシ
ミリ装置。
