Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a wiping and cleaning agent for removing nail enamels, etc., with hardly any irritant smell and skin irritation and capable of moderating degreasing of nails or the skin by blending a stock solution containing water, an organic solvent, a surfactant and a higher alcohol with a propellant such as liquefied petroleum gas. CONSTITUTION:The objective cleaning and wiping agent is obtained by blending (A) 70-95 pts.wt. stock solution containing (i) 40-60 pts.wt. water, (ii) 60-40 pts.wt. (preferably 42-52 pts.wt.) organic solvent such as acetone or methyl ethyl ketone, (iii) 5-10 pts.wt. (preferably 4-10 pts.wt.) surfactant such as sorbitan monolaurate or an aqueous solution of lauryldimethylaminobetaine and (iv) 0.5-5 pts.wt. (preferably 1-4 pts.wt.) higher alcohol such as >=16C cetanol with (B) 30-5 pts.wt. propellant composed of liquefied petroleum gas and/or dimethyl ether.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to develop a wiping agent having an equivalent effect with a small amount of organic solvent used as compared with a conventional product. As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have found that when the dosage form of the wiping agent is changed from a conventional organic solvent-based liquid form to a mousse type (creamy foam) in which water is mixed in an organic solvent at a specific ratio, the irritating odor is alleviated. The inventors have found that the skin is less irritating, degreasing of nails and skin does not occur, and that the wiping effect is equivalent to that of the conventional product, and the above-mentioned problems have been solved.

70 to 95 parts by weight of the above-mentioned stock solution in a product and 30 to 5 parts by weight of liquefied petroleum gas and / or dimethyl ether as a propellant. When the organic solvent is less than 40% by weight, the wiping effect is low, and when it exceeds 60% by weight, a mousse (creamy foam) cannot be obtained. The surfactant is
One to two or more of the above active agents are combined and used in an undiluted solution in an amount of 2 to 12 parts by weight. If it is less than 2% by weight, a good quality mousse (creamy foam) is unlikely to be formed, and if it is added in an amount of 12% or more, the effect does not change and stickiness such as stickiness occurs.

[0008] Higher alcohol is added to stabilize the foam quality and a mousse can be obtained without necessarily adding it, but in order to prevent foam dripping and to keep it stably attached to the nail or skin. It is preferable to add 1 to 4 parts by weight.
The ratio of the stock solution to the propellant is appropriately 30 to 5 parts by weight as the propellant. If it is 5 parts by weight or less, the foam quality is deteriorated during use or at a low temperature, and if it is 30 parts by weight or more, only the injection gas remains as it is used, which is uneconomical. Further, the blending ratio of liquefied petroleum gas and dimethyl ether can finely adjust the foam quality according to the intended use.

When the cleaning agent of the present invention is used, the mousse-type cleaning agent is placed on the organic substance to be removed, for example, nail enamel on the nails, oil stains on the skin such as hands and arms, and the like for a while. After leaving it for a while, paper, cotton,
Wipe off the mousse with a rag. In this case, compared with conventional liquid products, the cleaning agent can be applied directly without soaking into cotton etc., and there is no waste, and since liquid does not drip, liquid drip near the place of use and stains etc. Is prevented from occurring.

According to the present invention, the same cleaning effect can be obtained with a smaller amount of the organic solvent used as compared with the conventional product. This small amount of organic solvent reduces irritation odor and skin irritation, and is particularly preferable from the viewpoint of occupational safety and environmental protection. The mousse-type cleaning agent of the present invention can be directly applied to nails and the like, is convenient and does not drip.
