先ず、本実施形態のバッテリパックを搭載する車両の一例について説明する。
図1に示すように、車両1は、フロアパネル2とダッシュパネル3とにより車室4及び荷室5と、その前方のフロントルーム6と、に区画形成されている。車室4には、前部座席7及び後部座席8が設けられている。フロントルーム6には、左右の前輪FWを駆動する駆動源としてのエンジンENGが設けられ、荷室5の下方には、左右の後輪RWを駆動する駆動源としての電動機MOTが設けられている。即ち、車両1は、エンジンENG及び電動機MOTの両方を駆動源とする、いわゆるハイブリッド車両である。
バッテリパックBATは、複数のバッテリセルを積層して構成される複数のバッテリ11と、複数のバッテリ11を収容するバッテリケース12と、を備える。各バッテリセルには、不図示のガス放出弁が設けられ、例えば、何らかの異常によってバッテリセルが発熱し、バッテリセル内部の圧力が所定値を超えると、ガス放出弁が開弁してバッテリセル内のガスを外部、つまりバッテリケース12の内部に放出する。バッテリパックBATは密閉構造で構成されるため、バッテリケース12の内部の圧力が高まると、バッテリケース12の外部にガスを放出する必要性がある。以下、バッテリパックBATの圧力解放機構20について説明する。
バッテリケース12の内部の圧力を解放する圧力解放機構20は、図2に示すように、一端部がバッテリケース12に接続される連通部材30と、連通部材30の他端部に接続され、連通部材30介してガスを排出するガス排出部40と、を備える。
前記バッテリパックは、
バッテリ(バッテリ11)と、
前記バッテリを収容するケース(バッテリケース12)と、
前記ケースの内部の圧力を解放する圧力解放機構(圧力解放機構20)と、を備え、
前記圧力解放機構は、
一端部(前端部31a)と他端部(後端部32b)とを有し、前記一端部が前記ケースに接続される連通部材(連通部材30)と、
前記連通部材の前記他端部に接続され、ラビリンス構造(ラビリンス構造LA)を有するガス排出部(ガス排出部40)と、を備える、バッテリパック。
前記フロアパネルは、
前記バッテリパックの上面を覆うフロア部(フロントフロア部2a)と、
該フロア部から屈曲する屈曲部(屈曲部2d)と、
前記屈曲部から上方に延設される縦壁部(縦壁部2e)と、を備え、
前記連通部材の前記一端部は、前記ケースのケース後面(ケース後面12r)に接続され、
前記連通部材の前記他端部は、上方を向くように、且つ、前記ケース後面の後方に配置されている、バッテリパック。
前記ガス排出部のガス排出口(ガス排出口45)は、前記ガス排出部の下部に設けられている、バッテリパック。
前記バッテリパックは、前記車両の燃料タンク(燃料タンク9)の前方に配置され、
前記連通部材の一部は、前記燃料タンクの側方(右方)に配置されている、バッテリパック。
前記連通部材には、ガスの経路を遮るように金属製の網目状部材(網目状部材33)が設けられている、バッテリパック。
前記燃料タンクの側方には、排気管(排気管17)が設けられ、
前記連通部材は、車幅方向において前記排気管に設けられる消音装置(消音装置18)と前記燃料タンクとの間に配置されている、バッテリパック。

- フロアパネルの下方にバッテリパックが配置された車両であって、
前記バッテリパックは、
バッテリと、
前記バッテリを収容するケースと、
前記ケースの内部の圧力を解放する圧力解放機構と、を備え、
前記圧力解放機構は、
一端部と他端部とを有し、前記一端部が前記ケースに接続される連通部材と、
前記連通部材の前記他端部に接続され、ラビリンス構造を有するガス排出部と、を備え、
前記フロアパネルは、
前記バッテリパックの上面を覆うフロア部と、
該フロア部から屈曲する屈曲部と、
前記屈曲部から上方に延設される縦壁部と、を備え、
前記連通部材の前記一端部は、前記ケースのケース後面に接続され、
前記連通部材の前記他端部は、上方を向くように屈曲し、且つ、前記ケース後面の後方において、車両の前後方向から見て前記縦壁部と重なる位置に配置されている、
車両。 - 請求項1に記載の車両であって、
前記ガス排出部のガス排出口は、前記ガス排出部の下部に設けられている、車両。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の車両であって、
前記バッテリパックは、前記車両の燃料タンクの前方に配置され、
前記連通部材の一部は、前記燃料タンクの側方に配置されている、車両。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の車両であって、
前記連通部材には、ガスの経路を遮るように金属製の網目状部材が設けられている、車両。 - 請求項3に記載の車両であって、
前記燃料タンクの側方には、排気管が設けられ、
前記連通部材は、車幅方向において前記排気管に設けられる消音装置と前記燃料タンクとの間に配置されている、車両。
