本発明の実施の形態について図面を用いて以下に説明する。図1は、実施の形態に係る液晶表示装置の液晶表示パネルの平面図である。また、図2は、液晶表示パネルの断面図であり、具体的には図1においてA−Aで示した箇所の断面図である。全ての図は模式的に示したものであり、図示した構成要素の正確な大きさなどを反映するものではない。また、図面の理解を容易にするために、発明の主要部分以外の部分については、記載の省略および構成の一部の簡略化などを適宜行っている。

Claims (6)
- 走査線と前記走査線と交差する信号線とが形成されている表示領域と、
前記表示領域を囲み、前記信号線または前記走査線の少なくとも一方から延在する引き出し配線と、前記引き出し配線上を覆う絶縁層上に形成される接地電極とが形成されている額縁領域と、
を有する第1の基板と、
前記第1の基板と対向してシールを介して貼り合わされて液晶を内に密封し、前記液晶がある側とは反対側の表面に透明導電膜が形成されている第2の基板と、を有し、
前記表示領域内に、前記走査線や前記信号線と接続するスイッチング素子と、
前記スイッチング素子と接続する画素電極と、共通配線と、前記画素電極と同層に形成されて金属膜を含む第2の共通配線と、を有し、
前記画素電極は層間絶縁膜に開口するコンタクトホールを介して前記スイッチング素子と電気的に接続しており、
前記画素電極と前記共通配線との間に生じる電界により前記液晶の液晶分子が駆動される横電界方式の液晶表示装置であって、
前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板とにまたがるように形成されて、前記透明導電膜と前記接地電極とを電気的に接続する導電性部材を有し、
前記接地電極は、少なくとも1本の前記引き出し配線と重畳し、

前記導電性部材は、導電性ペーストまたは導電性テープであることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
