n1〜n3はそれぞれ独立して、0または1であり、
n1+n2+n3≧1であり、
前記化学式1において、トリフェニレン基に置換された6員環の総数は6個以下である。
Zはそれぞれ独立して、NまたはCRaであり、
Zのうちの少なくとも1つはNであり、
R1〜R10およびRaはそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、置換もしくは非置換のC1〜C10のアルキル基、置換もしくは非置換のC6〜C12のアリール基、またはこれらの組み合わせであり、
Lは置換もしくは非置換のフェニレン基、置換もしくは非置換のビフェニレン基、または置換もしくは非置換のターフェニレン基であり、
n1〜n3はそれぞれ独立して、0または1であり、

実施例1
合成例12で得られた化合物1をホストとして用い、Ir(PPy)3をドーパントとして用いて、有機発光素子を作製した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例13の化合物13を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例14の化合物14を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例15の化合物15を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例16の化合物24を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例17の化合物33を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例18の化合物69を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、合成例19の化合物87を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、下記構造のCBPを使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、下記構造のHOST1を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
合成例12の化合物1の代わりに、下記構造のHOST2を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。
実施例1〜8と、比較例1〜3による有機発光素子の電圧に応じた電流密度の変化、輝度変化および発光効率を測定した。
製造された有機発光素子に対して、電圧を0Vから10Vまで上昇させながら、電流−電圧計(Keithley2400)を用いて単位素子に流れる電流値を測定し、測定された電流値を面積で割って、結果を得た。
製造された有機発光素子に対して、電圧を0Vから10Vまで上昇させながら、輝度計(Minolta Cs−1000A)を用いてその時の輝度を測定して、結果を得た。
前記(1)および(2)から測定された輝度と電流密度および電圧を用いて、同一の電流密度(10mA/cm2)の電流効率(cd/A)を計算した。
輝度(cd/m2)を5000cd/m2に維持し、電流効率(cd/A)が90%に減少する時間を測定して、結果を得た。
Claims (13)
- 下記化学式1で表される有機化合物:
Zはそれぞれ独立して、NまたはCRaであり、
Zのうちの少なくとも2つはNであり、トリフェニレン基またはLに連結されたZ含有環の少なくとも2つのZはNであり、
R1〜R10およびRaはそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、C1〜C10のアルキル基、C6〜C12のアリール基であり、
Lは置換もしくは非置換のフェニレン基、置換もしくは非置換のビフェニレン基、または置換もしくは非置換のターフェニレン基であり、ここで、置換とは少なくとも1つの水素が重水素、C1〜C4のアルキル基またはフェニル基で置換されたことを意味し、
n1〜n3はそれぞれ独立して、0または1であり、
n1+n2+n3≧1であり、
前記化学式1において、トリフェニレン基に置換された6員環の総数は6個以下である。 - 下記化学式1−Iまたは化学式1−IIで表される、請求項1に記載の有機化合物:

Zのうちの少なくとも2つはNであり、トリフェニレン基またはLに連結されたZ含有環の少なくとも2つのZはNであり、
R1〜R10およびRaはそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、C1〜C10のアルキル基、C6〜C12のアリール基であり、
Lは置換もしくは非置換のフェニレン基、置換もしくは非置換のビフェニレン基、または置換もしくは非置換のターフェニレン基であり、ここで、置換とは少なくとも1つの水素が重水素、C1〜C4のアルキル基またはフェニル基で置換されたことを意味し、
n1〜n3はそれぞれ独立して、0または1であり、
n1+n2+n3≧1である。 - 前記Lは折れ(kink)構造の置換もしくは非置換のフェニレン基、折れ構造の置換もしくは非置換のビフェニレン基、または折れ構造の置換もしくは非置換のターフェニレン基である、請求項1または2に記載の有機化合物。
- 前記Lは、下記グループ1に挙げられた置換もしくは非置換の基から選択された1つである、請求項3に記載の有機化合物:
*は連結部分である。 - 前記有機化合物は、少なくとも2つの折れ構造を有する、請求項1に記載の有機化合物。
- 前記有機化合物は、下記化学式1aまたは1bで表される、請求項1に記載の有機化合物:

Zのうちの少なくとも2つはNであり、トリフェニレン基またはLに連結されたZ含有環の少なくとも2つのZはNであり、
R1〜R10およびRaはそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、C1〜C10のアルキル基、C6〜C12のアリール基である。 - 前記有機化合物は、下記化学式1c〜1tのうちのいずれか1つで表される、請求項1に記載の有機化合物:
Zはそれぞれ独立して、NまたはCRaであり、
Zのうちの少なくとも2つはNであり、フェニレン基、ビフェニレン基、ターフェニレン基に連結されたZ含有環の少なくとも2つのZはNであり、
R1〜R10およびRaはそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、C1〜C10のアルキル基、C6〜C12のアリール基であり、
R11〜R14、R17〜R20、R23〜R26およびR36〜R38はそれぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、C1〜C4のアルキル基またはフェニル基である。 - 下記グループ2に挙げられた、請求項1に記載の有機化合物。
- 互いに向き合う陽極および陰極と、
前記陽極と前記陰極との間に位置する少なくとも1層の有機層とを含み、
前記有機層は、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の有機化合物を含む有機光電子素子。 - 前記有機層は、発光層を含み、
前記発光層は、前記有機化合物を含む、請求項9に記載の有機光電子素子。 - 前記有機化合物は、前記発光層のホストとして含まれる、請求項9または10に記載の有機光電子素子。
- 前記有機層は、正孔注入層、正孔輸送層、電子阻止層、電子輸送層、電子注入層、および正孔阻止層から選択された少なくとも1つの補助層を含み、
前記補助層は、前記有機化合物を含む、請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の有機光電子素子。 - 請求項9〜12のいずれか1項に記載の有機光電子素子を含む表示装置。
