Description
Claims (10)
- エネルギー伝達装置にエネルギーを供給するように構成されたエネルギー源であって、前記エネルギー伝達装置は、組織へのエネルギー照射のために、一対のアンテナを結合させるように構成されかつその遠位端から前記エネルギー源まで延在するハンドルアセンブリを備えるエネルギー源と、
前記ハンドルアセンブリに動作可能に関連づけられており、かつ前記エネルギー源に接続するように構成された入力部および前記一対のそれぞれのアンテナに動作可能に接続された一対の出力チャネルを有する電力分配器と、
前記ハンドルアセンブリに動作可能に関連づけられており、かつ前記一対の出力チャネルに動作可能に接続された移相器であって、前記一対の出力チャネル間の位相関係を選択的に変化させるように構成された移相器と、
を備え、前記エネルギー伝達装置は、前記移相器を制御することにより、組織切除モードと、組織焼灼モードとを含む複数のモード間で切り替えるように構成されており、前記移相器は、前記ハンドルアセンブリ上に配置されかつ前記移相器に動作可能に接続されたスイッチアセンブリによって使用者によって制御され、
前記移相器は、前記一対のアンテナ間で+/−180°の位相差を生じさせるように選択的に制御され、
前記一対のアンテナ間の前記位相差が+/−180°である場合に、前記エネルギー伝達装置は組織切除モードで動作するように構成されており、
前記電力分配器は、前記一対の出力チャネル間に+/−90°の位相差を維持しながら、前記一対の出力チャネル間で分割されるほぼ等しい電力を生成する、電気外科手術用焼灼システム。 - 前記エネルギー源は、前記エネルギー伝達装置にマイクロ波エネルギーを供給するように構成されたマイクロ波発生器である、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記エネルギー源と動作可能に連通して配置され、かつ前記一対の出力チャネル上で検出される反射電力を監視するように構成された少なくとも1つの整流器をさらに備え、前記エネルギー源は、前記検出された反射電力に基づいて前記エネルギー伝達装置に供給される前記エネルギーを制御する、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記スイッチアセンブリは、前記ハンドルアセンブリの外側からアクセス可能であり、かつ前記移相器を制御するために前記ハンドルアセンブリ内に画定された溝の中を摺動するように構成されたスライドスイッチを備える、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記移相器は、前記一対のアンテナ間に同相関係を生成するように選択的に制御される、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記一対のアンテナ間に同相関係が存在する場合に、前記エネルギー伝達装置は組織焼灼モードで動作するように構成されている、請求項5に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記移相器は、前記一対のアンテナ間に同相関係を生成して前記一対のアンテナのそれぞれの放射部分に近接して略球状の焼灼形状を生成するように選択的に制御される、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記移相器は、前記一対のアンテナ間に異相関係を生成して前記一対のアンテナのそれぞれの放射部分に近接して略細長い焼灼形状を生成するように選択的に制御される、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記一対のアンテナは互いに略平行である、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
- 前記電力分配器は90°の電力分割器である、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術用焼灼システム。
