Description
する冷却装置と、前記冷却装置を制御する電子制御装置とを備え、前記電子制御装置は、前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記冷却装置が正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記冷却装置が異常状態であると判断する。
上記課題を解決する異常診断方法は、自動車の電力制御装置を冷却する冷却装置であって、冷媒を送り出す回転体、及び前記回転体を制御する駆動源を有する冷却装置の異常診断方法であって、前記冷却装置を制御する電子制御装置が、前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記冷却装置が正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記冷却装置が異常状態であると判断する。
この態様によれば、診断基準情報は、指示回転数の増大に伴い実回転数の許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納されている。これによれば、回転体や駆動源が正常であるにも関わらず、それらに異常が発生したと診断してしまうような誤診断を抑制することができる。
上記車載用電力制御装置の冷却システムについて、前記電力制御装置は、回転電機の交流側に接続されるインバータと、前記インバータの直流側に接続される電池とを備え、前記冷却装置は、少なくとも前記インバータを冷却する冷媒が循環する冷媒循環路と、前記冷媒を冷却するラジエータをさらに備え、前記回転体は、空気を送り出すことによって前記ラジエータを空冷する電動式ファンであって、前記電動式ファンが有する駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記電動式ファンが正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記電動式ファンが異常状態であると判断することが好ましい。
本実施形態の冷却システムは、ハイブリッド自動車に搭載される。図1に示すように、ハイブリッド自動車のエンジン1は、電動発電機2と図示しない歯車機構を介して連結されている。電動発電機2は、3相ケーブル5を介して、電力制御装置(Power Control Unit:PCU)10に接続されている。また、電動発電機2は、クラッチ6を介して変速機7に連結されている。変速機7の出力軸は、車両のプロペラシャフト8に連結されている。
(1)上記実施形態によれば、ECU15は、指示回転数Rc−iに対して電動式ファン13の駆動モータ13Mの実回転数Rc−aが乖離するときの該実回転数Rc−aの許容幅を、駆動モータ13Mに印加される作動電圧値Vcに応じて変化させた診断マップM1を予め格納している。また、ECU15は、駆動モータ13Mの作動電圧値Vc及び指示回転数Rc−iに基づき、指示回転数Rc−iに対する実回転数Rc−aの許容幅を求める。そして、ECU15は、駆動モータ13Mの実回転数Rc−aを入力し、実回転数Rc−aが許容幅に含まれる場合に電動式ファン13が正常状態であると判断し、実回転数Rc−aが許容幅外である場合に電動式ファン13が異常状態であると判断する。従って、アイドリング状態からの発進時等、電動式ファン13の駆動モータ13Mに対する入力電圧が大きく変動しても、その電圧値に応じて実回転数Rc−aの許容幅が変更されるため、電動式ファン13が正常であるにも関わらず、それらに異常が発生したと診断してしまうような誤診断を抑制することができる。
・上記実施形態では、電動式ファン25に対する指示回転数を一定としたが、多段階的又は連続的に可変としてもよい。
・電動式ファン13、電動式ファン25の構成は特に限定されず、プロペラファン、ブロア、クロスフローファン、斜流ファン等、適宜変更してもよい。
・上記実施形態では、電動式ファン13,25及びウォーターポンプ23に対して、作動電圧値に応じた異常診断を行うようにしたが、電動式ファン13,25及びウォーターポンプ23のうち少なくとも一つに対して異常診断が実行されればよい。
Claims (6)
- 自動車の電力制御装置を冷却する冷却装置であって、冷媒を送り出す回転体、及び前記回転体を制御する駆動源を有する冷却装置と、
前記冷却装置を制御する電子制御装置とを備え、
前記電子制御装置は、
前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、
前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記冷却装置が正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記冷却装置が異常状態であると判断する車載用電力制御装置の冷却システム。 - 前記電力制御装置は、回転電機の交流側に接続されるインバータと、前記インバータの直流側に接続される電池とを備え、
前記冷却装置は、前記電池内に空気を流して冷却する電動式ファンを備え、
前記電子制御装置は、前記電池の内部温度に応じて前記電動式ファンが有する駆動源に指示回転数を出力するとともに、
前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値及びその指示回転数から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、
前記実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記電動式ファンが正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記電動式ファンが異常状態であると判断する請求項1に記載の車載用電力制御装置の冷却システム。 - 前記電力制御装置は、回転電機の交流側に接続されるインバータと、前記インバータの直流側に接続される電池とを備え、
前記冷却装置は、少なくとも前記インバータを冷却する冷媒が循環する冷媒循環流路と
、前記冷媒を冷却するラジエータとをさらに備え、前記回転体は、前記冷媒を送り出すポンプであって、
前記電子制御装置は、前記冷媒の温度に応じて前記ポンプが有する駆動源に指示回転数を出力するとともに、
前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値及びその指示回転数から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、
前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記ポンプが正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記ポンプが異常状態であると判断する請求項1に記載の車載用電力制御装置の冷却システム。 - 前記電子制御装置は、前記診断基準情報を、前記指示回転数の増大に伴い前記実回転数の許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納し、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値及びその指示回転数から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求める
請求項2又は3に記載の車載用電力制御装置の冷却システム。 - 前記電力制御装置は、回転電機の交流側に接続されるインバータと、
前記インバータの直流側に接続される電池とを備え、
前記冷却装置は、少なくとも前記インバータを冷却する冷媒が循環する冷媒循環路と、前記冷媒を冷却するラジエータをさらに備え、前記回転体は、空気を送り出すことによって前記ラジエータを空冷する電動式ファンであって、
前記電動式ファンが有する駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、
前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記電動式ファンが正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記電動式ファンが異常状態であると判断する請求項1に記載の車載用電力制御装置の冷却システム。 - 自動車の電力制御装置を冷却する冷却装置であって、冷媒を送り出す回転体、及び前記回転体を制御する駆動源を有する冷却装置の異常診断方法であって、
前記冷却装置を制御する電子制御装置が、
前記駆動源の実回転数の許容幅を示す診断基準情報を、前記駆動源に印加される電圧値が大きくなるに伴い前記許容幅が大きくなるように変化させて格納しており、
前記診断基準情報に基づき、前記駆動源に印加された電圧値から、前記実回転数の許容幅を求め、
前記駆動源の実回転数が、求めた前記許容幅に含まれる場合に前記冷却装置が正常状態であると判断し、前記実回転数が前記許容幅に含まれない場合に前記冷却装置が異常状態であると判断する異常診断方法。
