Description
なお、上記したハンドリング工程では、石英ガラスルツボ5を回転させてから再び包装台テーブル15上に載置しているが、必ずしも回転させる必要はなく、目的に応じて、図4(a)〜(i)に示すように、持ち上げた石英ガラスルツボ5を回転させる工程を経ることなく、再び包装台テーブル15上に載置することも可能である。或いは、図示は省略するが、持ち上げられた石英ガラスルツボ5を90°回転させて、石英ガラスルツボ5を横に寝かせた状態にて、再び包装台テーブル15上に載置させることも可能である。

Claims (8)
- 石英ガラスルツボを挟持し、移動させる石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置であって、
水平方向に延びるビーム、及び、該ビームの中心軸線方向に対し直交する方向に該ビームから突出し、少なくとも一方が該ビームの中心軸線方向に移動可能である一対のアームを具えるフレームの、前記一対のアームに組み付けられた、石英ガラスルツボの胴部をルツボの径方向に挟持する相互に対向する一対の挟持手段、
各挟持手段に隣接して設けられ、石英ガラスルツボをルツボの中心軸線方向に挟んで掛止するルツボの中心軸線方向に近接離間可能な一対の舌片からなる掛止手段、並びに、
前記フレームを石英ガラスルツボの中心軸線に沿って往復運動させる駆動手段を具え、
前記一対の舌片は、一方がアームへの取り付けの基部を軸にルツボの中心軸線方向に向かって揺動可能であり、他方がルツボの中心軸線方向に伸縮可能であることを特徴とする石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。 - 前記アームに組み付けられており、石英ガラスルツボを、一対の挟持手段を通り、ルツボの中心軸線に直交する方向に延びる仮想線を軸に回動させる回動手段を更に具える、請求項1に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。
- 前記挟持手段は、少なくとも一本のローラを具え、該ローラの軸線は、前記ルツボの中心軸線方向に延在してなる、請求項1又は2に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。
- 前記ローラを複数本具え、該複数本のローラは、相互に離間してなる、請求項3に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。
- 前記ローラは、外周に弾性層を有する、請求項3又は4に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。
- 前記一対の舌片は、弾性部材を具える、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング装置を用いて石英ガラスルツボをハンドリングする方法であって、
台座に載置された石英ガラスルツボの胴部をルツボの径方向に挟んで挟持する工程と、
石英ガラスルツボをルツボの中心軸線方向に挟んで掛止する工程と、
石英ガラスルツボを持ち上げる工程と、
石英ガラスルツボを台座に載置する工程と、
石英ガラスルツボの挟持及び掛止を解除する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング方法。 - 前記石英ガラスルツボを持ち上げる工程の後、石英ガラスルツボを回動させる工程を更に含む、請求項7に記載の石英ガラスルツボのハンドリング方法。
