Claims (18)

前記回転防止ストッパは、該回転防止ストッパの前記2つの平らな面のうちの一方又は他方と切削用チップの凹部との間の点接触によって、前記切削用チップが前記チップ用ポケット内でいずれの方向にも回転しないように固定するようになされており、

- 前記チップ用ポケット内に単一の回転防止ストッパが形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工具ホルダー上にチップ用ポケットと該チップ用ポケット内に設けられる単一の回転防止ストッパとを形成する方法であって、
前記工具ホルダーを接線方向に給送することによってフライス加工することにより、前記工具ホルダーに、底面と側壁とを備えているチップ用ポケットと、該チップ用ポケットの前記側壁から突出しており且つ少なくとも2つの平らな面を含んでいる前記単一の回転防止ストッパとを形成するステップを含み、
前記単一の回転防止ストッパは、該回転防止ストッパの前記2つの平らな面のうちの一方又は他方と切削用チップの凹部との間の点接触によって、前記切削用チップが前記チップ用ポケット内でいずれの方向にも回転しないように固定するようになされており、
前記の工具ホルダーを接線方向に給送することによってフライス加工することによりチップ用ポケットと回転防止ストッパとを形成するステップが、フライスカッターを前記底面と平行な方向に前記工具ホルダー内へ進ませることを含む、方法。 - 前記少なくとも2つの平らな面が前記底面に対して直角である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記の工具ホルダーを接線方向に給送することによってフライス加工することにより前記チップ用ポケットの頂面をボールミルによって形成するステップを更に含んでいる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが3つの平らな面を有している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記3つの平らな面が前記底面に対して直角である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが前記チップ用ポケットの前記底面と側壁との両方と一体に形成されている、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記チップ用ポケットが切削用チップと係合するための側壁を有している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが前記チップ用ポケット内に配置されている切削用チップの位置合わせをする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記工具ホルダーが1〜20個のチップ用ポケットを備えている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが前記切削用チップに設けられている凹部内へ少なくとも部分的に伸長している、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパの形状と前記凹部の形状とが互いに相補する相補形状に形成されたものではない、ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記切削用チップが形状が丸いチップである、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記切削用チップが形状が丸いチップである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが、球の一部分によって規定される点において前記凹部と係合する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記回転防止ストッパが、球の一部によって規定される凹部を更に有している、請求項1に記載の方法。
