Description
しかしながら、このような装置は長期間体内に設置されるものであり、上述したような導線が生体の体液等により浸潤されてしまう場合もある。
上記従来技術の問題点に鑑み、体内の離れた位置に置かれた各ユニット同士を電気的に接続する導線が浸潤されても、生体への影響を抑制することのできる視覚再生補助装置を提供することを技術課題とする。
(1) 体外に置かれる体外装置と患者の体内に埋植される体内装置とを有し、患者の視覚を再生させる視覚再生補助装置において、
前記体外装置は、外界を撮影する撮影装置と、該撮影装置により得られた画像データを電気刺激パルス信号用データに変換する変調手段と、前記電気刺激パルス信号用データと電力とを所定の信号に変換して送信する送信手段と、を有し、
前記体内装置は、前記送信手段から送信された前記信号を受信する受信手段と、該受信手段により受信された前記信号から前記電気刺激パルス信号用データと前記電力とを抽出して共に所定の交流信号に変換する第1制御ユニットと、該第1制御ユニットと離れた位置に分離されて設置され,前記第1制御ユニットからの前記交流信号に基づき複数の電極から電気刺激パルス信号を出力させる第2制御ユニットと、前記第1制御ユニットと前記第2制御ユニットとを電気的に接続し,前記交流信号を送る,生体適合性及び絶縁性の有る樹脂で被膜された導線と、
を有し、
前記第1制御ユニットは前記電力を含む前記第2制御ユニットに送る全ての信号を前記交流信号に変換し前記導線を介して送信することを特徴とする。
(2) (1)に記載の視覚再生補助装置において、前記交流信号は、前記導線が体液に暴露されて浸潤された際に前記導線から放出される単位面積あたりの電荷量が、体液が電気分解しない程度となるように、半波あたりの電荷量が定められていることを特徴とする。

Claims (2)
- 体外に置かれる体外装置と患者の体内に埋植される体内装置とを有し、患者の視覚を再生させる視覚再生補助装置において、
前記体外装置は、外界を撮影する撮影装置と、該撮影装置により得られた画像データを電気刺激パルス信号用データに変換する変調手段と、前記電気刺激パルス信号用データと電力とを所定の信号に変換して送信する送信手段と、を有し、
前記体内装置は、前記送信手段から送信された前記信号を受信する受信手段と、該受信手段により受信された前記信号から前記電気刺激パルス信号用データと前記電力とを抽出して共に所定の交流信号に変換する第1制御ユニットと、該第1制御ユニットと離れた位置に分離されて設置され,前記第1制御ユニットからの前記交流信号に基づき複数の電極から電気刺激パルス信号を出力させる第2制御ユニットと、前記第1制御ユニットと前記第2制御ユニットとを電気的に接続し,前記交流信号を送る,生体適合性及び絶縁性の有る樹脂で被膜された導線と、
を有し、
前記第1制御ユニットは前記電力を含む前記第2制御ユニットに送る全ての信号を前記交流信号に変換し前記導線を介して送信することを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。 - 請求項1に記載の視覚再生補助装置において、前記交流信号は、前記導線が体液に暴露されて浸潤された際に前記導線から放出される単位面積あたりの電荷量が、体液が電気分解しない程度となるように、半波あたりの電荷量が定められていることを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。
