Description
本発明の目的のためには、混合酸化物は、原子レベルで混合物を形成する少なくとも2つの成分から構成されている酸化物の固体の粉末材料である。この用語は、酸化物の粉末材料の物理的混合物を含む。本発明により触媒の重要な1つの成分は、酸化マグネシウムと酸化アルミニウムとの均一な混合酸化物である。この混合酸化物は、本発明の目的のためにMg−Al混合酸化物と呼称される。このMg−Al混合酸化物の組成は、測定精度内で一定であり、即ち粉末粒子の断面に亘って均一である。
すなわち、本発明の第1の態様は、支持材料としての希土類酸化物でドープされ、マグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して酸化マグネシウム1〜30質量%を含有するマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物上に析出された、マグネシウム、カルシウム、ストロンチウム、バリウム、およびアルカリ金属から構成される群から選択された元素の酸化物、炭酸塩または水酸化物を窒素酸化物蓄積成分として含有する窒素酸化物蓄積材料と、支持材料としての希土類酸化物でドープされたマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物上に析出された、酸化活性成分としての白金とを含有する、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第2の態様は、窒素酸化物蓄積成分と白金とが同じ支持材料上に析出されており、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒が付加的に酸化セリウムをベースとする酸素蓄積材料を含有する前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第3の態様は、酸化活性成分がパラジウムで含浸されている前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第4の態様は、付加的に酸化アルミニウム上のロジウムを含有する前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第5の態様は、付加的に酸化アルミニウム上のロジウムを含有する、前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第6の態様は、希土類酸化物でドープされ、白金が析出されたマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物が、当該マグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して1〜30質量%の酸化マグネシウムと、当該マグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して5〜15質量%の希土類酸化物を含有する、前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第7の態様は、酸化物として計算して、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒の全質量に対して3〜25質量%の窒素酸化物蓄積成分を含有する、前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第8の態様は、酸化物として計算して、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒の全質量に対して5〜10質量%の窒素酸化物蓄積成分を含有する、前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
本発明の第9の態様は、セラミックまたは金属から形成された不活性のハニカムに塗膜の形で存在する、前記窒素酸化物蓄積触媒に関する。
次の実施例および比較例において、完全触媒は、製造され、窒素酸化物に対する前記完全触媒の蓄積効率は、排気ガスの温度の関数として測定される。触媒の蓄積効率は、触媒の性能を評価するために最も重要なパラメーターである。希薄混合気燃焼エンジンの排気ガスからの窒素酸化物の除去に関連する効率が記載される。
1.Mg−Al酸化物:酸化物成分の質量比Al2O3:MgO=80:20を有する均一なマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物。
請求項6記載の蓄積触媒を製造した。この目的のために、Mg−Al混合酸化物を最初に硝酸セリウムでの含浸によって酸化セリウムでドープし、その後にか焼した。ドープされた支持材料中で、酸化物成分は、次の質量比で存在した:
Al2O3:MgO:CeO2=72:18:10。
請求項7記載の触媒C2を製造するために、酸化セリウムでドープされたMg−Al酸化物を最初に酢酸バリウムで含浸し、乾燥させ、か焼し、その後に、白金を実施例1の記載と同様に前記酸化物に適用した。付加的に、セリウム−ジルコニウム混合酸化物を触媒に添加した。
比較触媒として、1つの触媒を欧州特許出願公開第1317953号明細書A1の記載と同様に製造した。蓄積成分の酸化バリウムが酸化セリウムでドープされたMg−Al酸化物上に付着されずにセリウム−ジルコニウム混合酸化物上に付着されたことは、本発明による2つの触媒C1およびC2とは区別される。
この一連の実験は、C1およびC2について測定された触媒挙動の改善が酸化セリウムでのMg−Al酸化物のドーピングと密接に関連していることを示す。
比較触媒CC4は、配合に関連して欧州特許出願公開第1317953号明細書A1の触媒C7aに対応する。この触媒を、原理的な組成に関連して請求項4および5に記載の2つの実施態様に対応する触媒C3およびC4(組成については、第3表参照)と比較した。付加的に、C3に対応するが、しかし、低い温度での窒素酸化物蓄積能力が付加的な量のCe−Zr酸化物により増大される触媒(C5)を製造した。
Claims (9)
- 支持材料としての希土類酸化物でドープされ、マグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して酸化マグネシウム1〜30質量%を含有するマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物上に析出された、マグネシウム、カルシウム、ストロンチウム、バリウム、およびアルカリ金属から構成される群から選択された元素の酸化物、炭酸塩または水酸化物を窒素酸化物蓄積成分として含有する窒素酸化物蓄積材料と、
支持材料としての希土類酸化物でドープされたマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物上に析出された、酸化活性成分としての白金とを含有する、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。 - 窒素酸化物蓄積成分と白金とが同じ支持材料上に析出されており、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒が付加的に酸化セリウムをベースとする酸素蓄積材料を含有する、請求項1記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- 酸化活性成分がパラジウムで含浸されている、請求項1または2記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- 付加的に酸化アルミニウム上のロジウムを含有する、請求項1または2記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- 付加的に酸化アルミニウム上のロジウムを含有する、請求項3記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- 希土類酸化物でドープされ、白金が析出されたマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物が、当該マグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して1〜30質量%の酸化マグネシウムと、
当該希土類酸化物でドープされたマグネシウム−アルミニウム混合酸化物の全質量に対して5〜15質量%の希土類酸化物を含有する、請求項1記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。 - 酸化物として計算して、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒の全質量に対して3〜25質量%の窒素酸化物蓄積成分を含有する、請求項1記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- 酸化物として計算して、窒素酸化物蓄積触媒の全質量に対して5〜10質量%の窒素酸化物蓄積成分を含有する、請求項7記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
- セラミックまたは金属から形成された不活性のハニカムに塗膜の形で存在する、請求項1または2記載の窒素酸化物蓄積触媒。
