- 機関本体(19,91)が備えるシリンダヘッド(25F,25R,95)の吸気ポート(31F,31R,99)に、スロットル弁(74)を有するスロットルボディ(71F,71R,71)が接続され、電動モータ(77)を有する電気式アクチュエータ(AF,AR,A)が前記スロットル弁(74)を開閉駆動すべく前記スロットルボディ(71F,71R,71)に付設される車両用内燃機関の吸気制御装置において、
前記機関本体(19,91)が、シリンダ軸線(CF,CR,C)を車両の進行方向に沿う前上がりもしくは後ろ上がりに傾斜させて車体フレーム(F)に搭載され、
前記吸気ポート(31F,31R,99)は、車両前後方向で前記シリンダ軸線(CF,CR,C)が鉛直線に対し傾倒する側と反対側に向かって上側に傾斜して延びると共に、その吸気ポート(31F,31R,99)の上流端が前記シリンダヘッド(25F,25R,95)の、車両前後方向で前記反対側を向く側面に開口し、
この吸気ポート(31F,31R,99)に前記スロットルボディ(71F,71R,71)が、前記シリンダヘッド(25F,25R,95)に結合されるヘッドカバー(26F.26R,96)の最上端よりも下方に位置するようにして接続され、
前記スロットルボディ(71F,71R,71)と前記ヘッドカバー(26F.26R,96)との間に前記電動モータ(77)が配置されることを特徴とする車両用内燃機関の吸気制御装置。 - 前記機関本体(19,91)が、クランクシャフト(21,104)を進行方向と直交する方向に向けて自動二輪車の車体フレーム(F)に搭載され、エアクリーナ(73,111)が前記電気式アクチュエータ(AF,AR,A)の上方に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用内燃機関の吸気制御装置。
- 前記機関本体(19)が、シリンダ軸線(CF)を車両の進行方向に沿う前上がりに傾斜させた前部バンク(BF)と、シリンダ軸線(CR)を車両の進行方向に沿う後ろ上がりに傾斜させ後部バンク(BR)とを有してV型に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両用内燃機関の吸気制御装置。
- 前記機関本体(19)の動弁装置(35F,35R)が、カムシャフト(36)に設けられて吸気弁(33F、33R)を直押し駆動する吸気側動弁カム(37)と、前記カムシャフト(36)に設けられた排気側動弁カム(39)と、この排気側動弁カム(39)に従動して揺動することで排気弁(34F、34R)を駆動するロッカアーム(40)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用内燃機関の吸気制御装置。
