Description

The present invention relates to a label having excellent decorativeness, and more particularly to a label that can impress a cold feeling.

In general, various types of labels such as heat-shrinkable cylindrical labels and tack labels are used for various types of containers such as glass bottles and PET bottles, wide-mouth containers, and cup-shaped containers. In order to convey the product name, product image, etc. to the consumer, such a label has a product name and various decorative patterns printed on it. For example, an ice pattern on a label used for a cold beverage container, etc. Is printed to express the cold feeling of the filled contents. However, even if a decorative pattern such as an ice pattern is accurately reproduced and printed as in a color photograph, there is a limit to impressing the viewer with a cold feeling by printing alone. Also known is a label with a frosted decoration applied to the decorative pattern by uniformly matting the surface of the label with matte ink, etc. There is a demand for a label that can make a good impression on the user.

Therefore, the present invention has an object to provide a label that has been subjected to a process with excellent decorativeness, and further provides a label that is devised so that the viewer can fully feel the cold feeling. Let it be the 2nd subject.

In the present invention, a decorative pattern is printed on the back surface of a transparent film layer made of synthetic resin, and an uneven surface portion to which inorganic fine particles are attached is provided on the surface of the film layer so that the decorative pattern is overcoated. The uneven surface portion provides a label in which a plurality of rough surface portions to which inorganic fine particles are attached and a smooth surface portion from which the surface of the film layer is exposed are mixed.

Since the label is provided with an uneven surface portion to which inorganic fine particles are attached so that the decorative pattern is overcoated on the surface of the film layer, a clear difference in gloss occurs between the decorative pattern portion and the other portions. , Can make the decorative pattern stand out. Furthermore, since the uneven surface portion of the decorative pattern is composed of a plurality of rough surface portions to which inorganic fine particles adhere and a smooth surface portion from which the surface of the film layer is exposed, even in the uneven surface portion, Light hitting the smooth surface portion is reflected from between the rough surface portions by the highly glossy smooth surface portion existing between the plurality of rough surface portions having low gloss. Accordingly, it is possible to give a delicate gloss contrast that cannot be obtained by simply applying a matte treatment to the decorative pattern.

Further, the second means of the present invention, the average surface roughness of the rough surface portion (Ra), provides the label is 0.8~2.5Myuemu. The decorative pattern may be a cold associated pattern. Here, the cold sensation associative pattern refers to a pattern and / or a character that, when viewed, gives the viewer the impression that it is cold, for example, “Ice, iceberg, snowy mountain, chilled glass, It includes a pattern that expresses “ice tree” and characters that express “ice, freezing, and snow”.
The above-mentioned label provided with a concavo-convex surface portion so as to be overcoated on such a cool sensation associative pattern has a frosted rough surface part and a glossy smooth surface part, so that frost and ice particles are formed on the cool sensation associative pattern. It can appear as if it is attached. In addition, when the average roughness (Ra) of the surface of the rough surface portion is 0.8 to 2.5 μm, relatively large unevenness is generated on the surface of the rough surface portion, and the uneven surface portion that is overcoated with the cool associative pattern is formed. When touched, the candy can give a rough feel as if frost is attached. Therefore, it appeals not only to the visual sense but also to the tactile sense, and can impress the consumer with a cold feeling.

In particular, the present invention is configured as a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label using a heat-shrinkable film as the film layer and formed in a tubular shape so that the back surface of the film layer becomes an inner peripheral surface, and the heat-shrinkable tubular shape. When the label is shrink-mounted on a container having a curved surface such as a glass bottle, the label is mounted along the curved surface, so that the light reflection direction becomes more diverse, and the ice particles shine brightly from the frost. It is a preferred embodiment because it can be seen as if it is.

The label according to the present invention makes a decorative pattern stand out by providing an uneven surface portion so that the decorative pattern is overcoated, and the uneven surface portion is composed of a rough surface portion to which inorganic fine particles are attached and a smooth surface portion where the film layer surface is exposed. By doing so, it is possible to give a delicate gloss contrast that cannot be obtained by simply applying a matte treatment uniformly. Therefore, a label with a more expressive decoration can be provided.
Further, by forming an average surface roughness of the rough surface portion in 0.8~2.5Myuemu, it may represent a very rough feel. When a cold-sense associative pattern is printed as a decorative pattern, it is possible to express a frosted appearance that matches the image of the pattern, and to express a very rough feel of frost. Therefore, in addition to an effective visual effect, it is possible to provide a label that can give a cold feeling to the viewer even by touch, and can sufficiently convey the image of the cold product to the consumer.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label (for convenience, the uneven surface portion is indicated by light ink painting), FIG. 2A is an enlarged end view of the AA line portion of FIG. 1, and FIG. ) Is an enlarged view of a circled portion B in FIG. 1.
1 and 2, reference numeral 1 is a label in which a design printing layer 3 is provided on the back surface 2a of the film layer 2, and an uneven surface portion 4 on which inorganic fine particles are adhered is provided on the surface 2b of the film layer. The side seals 5a and 5b of the base material 5 are overlapped to form a cylindrical shape so that the back surface 2a side of the film layer 2 is the inner surface of the label, and this overlapped portion is adhered with a solvent or an adhesive to seal the center seal. The heat-shrinkable cylindrical label in which the part 6 was formed is shown.

Specifically, the label substrate 5 is made of a transparent film layer 2 made of a synthetic resin. On the back surface 2a of the film layer 2, a formal display 31 such as a product name, a product description, and a component display and a product image The design printing layer 3 on which a decorative pattern 32 for imparting a color is printed is provided. The design printing layer 3 is provided by single color or multicolor printing (color photograph) printing by a known printing method such as gravure printing. In the present embodiment, as the decorative pattern 32, a picture (cool sensation associative pattern) in the image of an iceberg is printed with white ink with shades. The color of the decorative pattern 32 is not limited to white, and may be a combination of other colors such as light yellow, light blue, light red, light silver, and the like.
On the other hand, the surface 2b of the film layer 2 is provided with a concavo-convex surface portion 4 to which inorganic fine particles are attached so as to be applied over the decorative pattern 32. As shown in FIG. 2, the uneven surface portion 4 is composed of a rough surface portion 41 to which a plurality of inorganic fine particles are attached and a smooth surface portion 42 (a portion to which no inorganic fine particles are attached) from which the surface 2b of the film layer 2 is exposed. Both the portions 41 and 42 are not particularly determined and are formed in an irregularly densely mixed state. The rough surface portion 41 is a portion where a plurality of inorganic fine particles are attached along the surface 2b of the film layer 2 (some portions are attached in a layered manner), (meth) acrylic acid, (meth) acrylic acid ester. It is coated by a gravure printing method or the like using an ink in which inorganic fine particles are dispersed in a colorless and transparent synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin whose main component is a binder. The inorganic fine particles are not particularly limited. For example, inorganic fine particles such as silica (SiO 2 ), titanium oxide (TiO 2 ), barium carbonate, and alumina can be used, so that the color of the decorative pattern 32 can be seen through. Therefore, it is preferable to use silica having excellent transparency, and it is more preferable to use silica having a relatively large average particle size of about 10 to 25 μm. By using such inorganic fine particles having a relatively large particle size, the step (height difference) between the surface top of the rough surface portion 41 and the surface of the smooth surface portion 42 is increased, so that the rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 are separated from each other. A boundary becomes clear and the rough feeling of the rough surface part 41 can be made to stand out more. The inorganic fine particles are preferably blended, for example, in an amount of 10 to 30% by weight or more in the resin component of the ink. Further, the thickness (height) of the ink constituting the rough surface portion 41 is not particularly limited. Usually, the thickness of the resin portion serving as the binder is about 1 to 5 μm, and the thickness of the portion to which the inorganic fine particles are attached is 10 μm or more. , Such portions may be interspersed. Further, the thickness of each rough surface portion 41 may be the same (constant), but may be different as shown in FIG. The rough surface portion 41 is preferably formed so that the average surface roughness (Ra) of the surface is 0.8 to 2.5 μm, and more preferably 1.0 μm or more. However, the average surface roughness (Ra) is a value measured according to JIS B0601 (1994).
The planar shape of the rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 is not particularly limited. For example, a regular shape in which the rough surface portions 41 and the smooth surface portions 42 formed in an oblique band shape are alternately arranged may be used. In order to obtain an attached image, it is preferable to form an arbitrary shape such as an ellipse, an elongated shape, or a rectangular shape. Further, the size of the rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 is not particularly limited, but if it is too small or too large, the significance of configuring the uneven surface portion 4 by mixing both portions 41 and 42 is lost. For example, the width W is 0.05 mm or more, preferably about 0.1 mm or more, and the width W is 2 mm or less, preferably about 1 mm or less. The rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 are preferably dotted with arbitrary sizes as shown in FIG. 2 in order to obtain an image with natural frost.
In addition, in order to improve the slipperiness of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical label 1 and to make it slide smoothly with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the container at the time of opening and heat shrinking of the cylindrical label folded in a flat shape, 3 may be provided with a low friction layer 7 on the back surface 3a. The low friction layer 7 is provided by solid-printing a colorless transparent medium ink substantially free of pigment, a white ink lighter than the design printing layer 3 by a gravure printing method, and the like. In order to further improve the slipperiness, it is preferable to mix additives such as waxes, silicones and various lubricants.

Next, the film layer 2 is made of a colored transparent synthetic resin film that can be printed on the front and back surfaces 2b, 2a and is colorless and transparent or thinly colored so that the design print layer can be seen through. 1 is selected from polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, olefin resins such as polypropylene, styrene resins such as polystyrene and styrene-butadiene copolymers, cyclic olefin resins, vinyl chloride resins, and the like. A synthetic resin film made of a seed or a mixture of two or more kinds is used, and a laminated film in which two or more different films are laminated may be used. In the case of a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label as in this embodiment, a heat-shrinkable film configured to be heat-shrinkable by a known process may be used. This heat-shrinkable film is, for example, a uniaxially stretched film having at least 30% heat shrinkage (immersion in 80 ° C. warm water for 10 seconds) in at least one direction (circumferential direction when a cylindrical label is used) or the main stretch direction It is preferable to use a biaxially stretched film slightly stretched in a direction perpendicular to the direction. The thickness of the film layer 2 is preferably about 20 to 100 μm.

The heat-shrinkable cylindrical label 1 is shrink-mounted on a container having a colorless and transparent curved surface portion such as a colorless and transparent glass container or a PET bottle, and used in the form of a labeled container.
The cylindrical label 1 is provided with the concavo-convex surface portion 4 so as to overcoat the front surface 2b of the film layer 2 with the cold associative pattern 32 printed on the back surface 2a. In this case, there is a clear difference in gloss between the cold-feeling associative pattern 32 and the other portions where the uneven surface portion 4 is not provided, so that the cold-feeling associative pattern 32 appears conspicuously. Furthermore, since the uneven surface portion 4 provided so as to overlap the cold-feeling associative pattern 32 includes a plurality of the rough surface portion 41 to which the inorganic fine particles adhere and the smooth surface portion 42 from which the surface 2b of the film layer 2 is exposed, The fine light reflected from the highly glossy smooth surface portion 42 generates a delicate gloss contrast between the plurality of low-roughness rough surface portions 41, which cannot be obtained by simply applying the matte treatment uniformly. Due to the delicate gloss contrast, the cold associative pattern 32 has an appearance as if frost and ice particles are attached to the cold-sense associative pattern 32 when viewed from the surface side. As described above, the label 1 of the present invention is applied to the surface of the cold image such as an iceberg by applying a surface treatment that matches the image, thereby providing a viewer with the visual synergistic effect of the cold associative pattern 32 and the uneven surface portion 4. Impress the cold feeling. Further, when the cylindrical label 1 is shrink-mounted on a container having a curved surface, the label 1 is mounted along the three-dimensional outer peripheral surface of the container. Therefore, if the viewing angle is changed, the light of the rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 can be changed. The reflection direction of the ice is diversified, and the haze also appears as if the ice grains are shining through the frost.

Furthermore, when silica is used as the rough surface portion 41, the color itself applied to the decorative pattern 32 can be seen through from the surface side. Further, since the average surface roughness (Ra) of the rough surface portion 41 is formed to be 0.8 to 2.5 μm, the rough surface portion 41 becomes rough and the average as inorganic fine particles such as silica. When a particle having a particle size of 10 to 25 μm is attached, the step between the rough surface portion 41 and the smooth surface portion 42 becomes large, and fine irregularities due to the protrusions of the silica particles become relatively large on the surface of the rough surface portion 41. Therefore, when the concavo-convex surface portion 4 overcoated with the cold sensation associative pattern 32 is touched with a hand, a very rough feel is received. Such a touch gives the sensation of frost on the cold associative pattern 32, and thus appeals not only to the visual sense but also to the tactile sense, and can impress the consumer with a cold feeling.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and appropriate configurations can be added, substituted, and changed in design within the scope intended by the present invention. Hereinafter, parts different from those of the above-described embodiments will be mainly described. For the same configuration, terms and drawing numbers are used, and description thereof is omitted.
In the above embodiment, the concavo-convex surface portion 4 is provided by overcoating the entire cold associative pattern 32 (decorative pattern). For example, as shown in FIG. The uneven surface portion 4 may be provided only on a portion of the snow mountain where snow has fallen. Further, in the case where the cold sensation associative pattern 32 is printed at a plurality of locations, the uneven surface portion 4 may be provided on all of them, or may be provided only on a part thereof. Further, the cold feeling associative pattern 32 is not limited to a picture, and may be a character that means a cold feeling. The decorative pattern 32 is not limited to the cold sensation associative pattern as described above, and the uneven surface portion 4 can be provided on an arbitrary decorative pattern 32.
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the design printing layer 3 is provided in the back surface 2a of the film layer 2, you may provide it in the surface 2b of the film layer 2, and both the front and back surfaces 2a and 2b suitably It may be provided.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the heat-shrinkable cylindrical label 1 is illustrated as a label, the label of this invention is not restricted to a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label aspect, For example, the label base material 5 is planarly viewed. It may be formed into a substantially rectangular shape or a substantially elliptical shape, and it may be a sheet-like label such as a tack label with an adhesive applied to the back surface or a heat-sensitive adhesive label with a heat-sensitive adhesive applied to the back surface. Moreover, you may comprise as a self-expanding cylindrical label (stretch label) which used the self-expandable film with elasticity, and formed this in the cylinder shape.
Further, as the container to which the label 1 is attached, it is preferable to use a colorless and transparent container as in the above-described embodiment, because an effect of translucency can be obtained, but it may be attached to a colored container. The label of the present invention is more preferably attached to a container having a three-dimensional outer peripheral surface such as a curved surface of the container as described above.
