Description
Claims (11)
- 三次元シーン(6)を再生する装置であって、
コヒーレントな光を供給する少なくとも1つの光源(1)と、
光学系(2)と、
マトリックス又は規則的なパターンに配置されたセルで構成され、1セルごとに少なくとも1個の開口を備え、前記開口の位相または振幅が制御可能であるホログラム記録媒体(3)と、
を備え、
前記光学系は、前記光源(1)の像平面内に、当該光源(1)により供給された前記光を結像させ、
前記光源(1)により供給された前記光が前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)を通過した場合に、前記光源(1)の前記像平面上に当該ホログラム記録媒体(3)のフーリエ変換が形成され、
前記像平面において、少なくとも一つのビューイングウィンドウ(5)が前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)の前記フーリエ変換による再生の周期性間隔に位置し、
前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)の前記開口は、前記ビューイングウィンドウ(5)に位置する観察者の目が当該ビューイングウィンドウ(5)を通して3次元シーン(6)の再生を見ることができるように制御され、
前記ビューイングウィンドウ(5)の広がりが前記周期性間隔よりも大きくないことを特徴とする、装置。 - 前記ビューイングウィンドウ(5)が前記観察者の一方の目の位置に位置付けられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記観察者のもう一方の目には、前記光学系に一対の光源を形成するため、別の適当な位置でオンにされた、第2のコヒーレントな光源(1’)によって得られた第2のビューイングウィンドウ(5’)が割り当てられることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 第1のビューイングウィンドウ(5)に対する当該映像ホログラム(3)の高次回折次数が前記第2のビューイングウィンドウ(5’)の位置でゼロ点または強度最小値をとるように、前記光学系および前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)が配置されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)が前記第2のビューイングウィンドウ(5’)のオンへの切り替えに同期して第2の目のため再符号化されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 複数台の光源が複数の観察者のためオンにされることを特徴とする、請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記光源が機械的若しくは電気的変位によって、可動ミラーによって、または、他の適当な方法で位置付けられることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記光源の位置を決めるために必要な情報が前記観察者の位置に応じて少なくとも1台の位置センサによって与えられることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 映像ホログラムがカラーで再生され、前記ホログラム記録媒体(3)がマトリックス又は規則的なパターンに配置されたセルで構成され、1セルごとに3原色を表現する少なくとも3個の開口を備え、前記開口の位相または振幅が制御可能であり、前記開口が原色のそれぞれについて個別に符号化されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- カラーの再生が個別の前記原色における少なくとも3回の次々に実行される再生によって実現されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の装置を用いて映像ホログラムを再生する方法。
