この発明に係るバッテリー収容ボックスは、棚板を有する筐体本体と、この筐体本体の棚板上に収納されるバッテリーと、断面略コ字形状で、両端部に係合部を有するバッテリー保持ケースと、バッテリーをバッテリー保持ケースに保持するバッテリー固定バンドと、筐体本体の底面に設けられ、バッテリー保持ケースの係合部と係合可能な左右一対の引っ掛け部とを備え、バッテリー保持ケースの係合部間の距離は、筐体本体に収納前の状態では、引っ掛けフック間の距離より長くしてあり、バッテリー保持ケースの左右を撓ませて棚板に沿って筐体本体の奥方向へスライドさせてバッテリーを筐体本体に収容することを特徴とする。
