本発明は、ドアトリムとウェザーストリップの組み立てを正確かつ簡単に行うことができる自動車用ドアトリムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、ドアトリム本体のガーニッシュ部にウィンドガラスシール用のウェザーストリップを装着した自動車用ドアトリムにおいて、両者を固定一体化する取付構造としては、ウェザーストリップをドアトリムに組付けるタイプのものが広く知られている(例えば、実開平4−31012号公報や実開平6−18030号公報参照)。

しかしながら、従来タイプのものでは、ドアトリムをドアパネルに引っ掛けておき、この状態でウェザーストリップをドアトリムに組付ける構造であり、ドアトリムの組付けのバラツキ等によりウェザーストリップの装着位置がズレて安定したシール性能を得ることができないという問題点や、ドアトリムとの間に隙間ができてしまい見栄えが劣るという問題点があった

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記のような従来の問題点を解決して、ドアトリムとウェザーストリップの組み立てをバラツキを生じさせることなく正確に行うことができて、ウェザーストリップの安定したシール性能を得ることができるうえ、ドアトリムとの間に隙間も発生せず外観品質も優れたものとすることができる自動車用ドアトリムを提供することを目的として完成されたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するためになされた本発明の自動車用ドアトリムは、ドアトリム本体のガーニッシュ部にウェザーストリップを装着した自動車用ドアトリムにおいて、前記ウェザーストリップは下端が開放されている断面ほぼコ字状の芯金よりなる挟持枠本体部の一方の脚端を該挟持枠本体部に沿った立ち上がり部としてその延長端部にモール部を形成するとともに立ち上がり部の外側面にはリップ部を一体化し、さらに、前記挟持枠本体部の他方の脚端を挟持枠本体部に沿った立ち上がり部としてその延長端部に固定用爪部を設けたものであり、一方、前記ガーニッシュ部はその先端に爪受部付きのフランジが垂設されたものとして、この爪受部に前記固定用爪部を係合させるとともに、前記挟持枠本体部にドアパネルの差込端部を差し込んで、モール部の先端下面と固定用爪部とでフランジを挟持することによりウェザーストリップを位置決め固定したことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、図面を参照しつつ本発明の好ましい実施の形態を示す。
図面は、本発明を図5に示されるような自動車用フロントドアに適用した場合を示すものであって、図1はその断面図、図2は組立前の分解断面図であり、図中1はドアトリム本体、2はこのドアトリム本体1のガーニッシュ部に装着したウィンドガラスシール用のウェザーストリップ、3はドアパネル、4はウィンドガラスである。

前記ウェザーストリップ2は、下端が開放されている断面ほぼコ字状の芯金よりなる挟持枠本体部21の一方の脚端を該挟持枠本体部21に沿った立ち上がり部としてその延長端部にモール部24を形成するとともに、立ち上がり部の外側面には軟質合成樹脂などの弾性材よりなるリップ部22を一体化し、さらに、前記挟持枠本体部21の他方の脚端を該挟持枠本体部21に沿った立ち上がり部としてその延長端部に固定用爪部25を設けたものとしてある。一方、ガーニッシュ部はその先端に爪受部12付きのフランジ11が垂設されたもので、この爪受部12に前記固定用爪部25を係合させるとともに、前記挟持枠本体部21にドアパネル3の差込端部を差し込んでウェザーストリップ2を位置決め固定したものとなっている。なお、図中27は、挟持枠本体部21とドアパネル3の気密性を保持するためのシール片である。

前記フランジ11は、ガーニッシュ部の全体にわたり長手方向に形成することもできるが、図2に示されるように、ガーニッシュ部の長手方向に間欠的に複数個形成することもでき、この場合は成形効率の向上および軽量化等が図れることとなり好ましい。なお、フランジ11を間欠的に形成した場合のフランジ11がない部分の断面図を図3に示す。また、必要に応じてフランジ11の背面側に補強用のリブ13(図4参照)を形成することもできる。

図示のものにおいては、前記固定用爪部25は弾力性を有するクリップ形状とされ、一方、フランジ11の爪受部12は孔形状とされており、モール部24の先端下面と固定用爪部25とでフランジ11を挟持することにより、ウェザーストリップ2をドアトリム本体1に対し固定するよう構成されている。

なお、図1に示すものの他、図4に示されるように、フランジ11に上下一対の係止片14、14を突設し、この係止片14、14をモール部24の下面に形成した爪片26と固定用爪部25により挟持することでウェザーストリップ2をドアトリム本体1に対し固定するよう構成することもできる。

また図示のものでは、前記フランジ11が、ポリプロピレン等の合成樹脂よりなるドアトリム本体1のインジェクション成形と同時に一体的に形成されたものとなっているが、その他、フランジ11を金属ブラケット等の別部品として形成しドアトリム本体1にビス等により一体的に取り付けたものとすることも可能である。

このように構成したものは、ウェザーストリップ2を断面ほぼコ字状の挟持枠本体部21にリップ部22を一体化し、該挟持枠本体部21の一側端を延長してドアトリム本体1に続くモール部24を形成するとともに、他側端を延長して固定用爪部25を形成したものとし、一方、ガーニッシュ部の先端に爪受部12付きのフランジ11を垂設したものとして、この爪受部12に前記固定用爪部25を係合させたうえ、前記挟持枠本体部21にドアパネル3を差し込んでウェザーストリップ2を位置決め固定した構造であるので、ウェザーストリップ2の装着位置がズレることもなく正確に組み立てることができ安定したシール性能を得ることできることとなる。また、モール部24の存在によりドアトリムとの間に隙間を発生させることがなく音漏れや風漏れを防止できるとともに、外観上も優れたものとなる

以上の説明からも明らかなように、本発明はドアトリムとウェザーストリップの組み立てをバラツキを生じさせることなく正確に行うことができて、ウェザーストリップの安定したシール性能を得ることができるうえ、ドアトリムとの間に隙間も発生せず外観品質も優れたものとすることができるものである
