ペースの活用により有利な把手の大部分を十分な厚みの
ある断熱扉内に埋め込み、パネル面とほぼ面一にしたも

の費用が発生して把手が高価になる。また、複数の要素
部品を組み立てる必要があり、ときに嵌合に手間取り、

を参照して説明する。図4において、冷蔵庫は全域を開
口させた前面を除く両側面、背面、天井面および底面を
断熱壁として構成される箱状の本体1を有する。この本
体1は鋼板からなる外箱と硬質樹脂材料からなる内箱と
の間に発泡ウレタン等の断熱材を充填して構成される。
また、この本体1の内部はその内部に断熱材を充填して
いる上および下仕切り壁(図示せず)によってそれぞれ
独立した冷蔵室、冷凍室および野菜室(いずれも図示せ

内側本体15とから構成される。この外側装飾体14と
内側本体15とは硬質樹脂材料を用いて一体に構成され

当接される平面状の内面17とを有する。この内面17
に向かって内側本体15から複数個のリブ18が延びて
おり、内面17とこのリブ18との間で上記の扉シート
6の第1の縁端11を挟み込み(図1参照)、把手5の
外側装飾体14が保持されるようになっている。 【0014】一方、内側本体15には長手方向の中央部
に使用者が親指を除く全部の指を掛けるのに十分な大き
さを確保して断面U字形のポケット部19が形成されて
いる。また、内側本体15にはこのポケット部19に倣
い扉シート6に当接される曲面状の外面20が形成され
ている。この外面20と直ぐ隣接して複数個の保持部2
1が設けられており、外面20とこの保持部21との間
で上記の扉シート6の第2の縁端12を挟み込み(図1
参照)、把手5の内側本体15が保持されるようになっ
ている。 【0015】したがって、把手5の取り付けは外側装飾
体14の内面17と内側本体15のリブ18との間に第
1の縁端11を挟み込みながら、把手5を断熱扉2の端
の方向に押し込み、その後把手5を中心方向に戻しつ
つ、内側本体15の外面20と保持部21との間に第2
の縁端12を挟み込んで固定する。この把手5が固定さ
れた位置では把手5のポケット部19と扉シート6の凹
所9がつながり、図1に示すような把手装置が完成す

ることで、把手5が内側本体15のまわりを取り囲む断

断熱壁内に入り込むように縦に曲面を保って延びる凹所
と、扉シートのシート面と面一を保って延びる第1の縁
端および凹所の曲面に倣い縦に延びる第2の縁端とを形
成すると共に、凹所の曲面に沿って鎌形の透孔を穿設
し、その透孔内に単一要素からなる把手を第1の縁端と
第2の縁端とにわたすように保持したので、単一要素か
らなる把手を極めて安価に製作できると共に、組み立て
時、要素部品を嵌合する必要がなく、工数を大きく削減
することが可能になる。 【0021】さらに、発明は把手の外側装飾体の内面
とリブとの間に扉シートの第1の縁端を挟み、また、内
側本体の外面と保持部との間に扉シートの第2の縁端を
挟み込むように保持したので、把手を確実に保持するこ
