Abstract
Description
まず、図1を用いて、本発明による電池管理装置を含む電池システムをハイブリッド自動車用駆動システムに適用した例について説明する。図1は、本発明による電池管理装置を含む電池システムを備えたハイブリッド自動車の構成例を示す図である。
図2は、従来の接続方法によるセルコントローラ200内の集積回路300a〜300dとバッテリコントローラ500内のマイクロコンピュータ504の間の通信接続例を示す図である。なお、図2の集積回路300a〜300dは、図1の集積回路300に対応するものである。
図3は、本発明の第1の実施形態による通信接続例を示す図である。図3に示す接続方法では、図2に示した従来の接続方法と比べて、集積回路300bと集積回路300cとの間に接続回路310が設けられている点が異なっている。
図4は、本発明の第2の実施形態による通信接続例を示す図である。図4に示す接続方法では、集積回路300bと集積回路300cとの間に、図3に示した第1の実施形態における接続回路310に替えて、接続回路320が設けられている。
図5は、本発明の第3の実施形態による通信接続例を示す図である。図5に示す接続方法では、集積回路300bと集積回路300cとの間に、図3に示した第1の実施形態における接続回路310に替えて、接続回路330が設けられている。
図6は、本発明の第4の実施形態による通信接続例を示す図である。図6に示す接続方法では、集積回路300bと集積回路300cとの間に、図3に示した第1の実施形態における接続回路310に替えて、接続回路340が設けられている。

Claims (7)
- 電気的な接続を遮断する遮断機構の一方側に電気的に接続された第1電池セル群に対応して設けられ、前記第1電池セル群を構成する複数の電池セルのそれぞれの電圧を計測する第1集積回路と、
前記遮断機構の他方側に電気的に接続された第2電池セル群に対応して設けられ、前記第2電池セル群を構成する複数の電池セルのそれぞれの電圧を計測する第2集積回路と、
前記第1集積回路と前記第2集積回路との間で信号を伝送する信号伝送路と、
前記信号伝送路に設けられた絶縁素子と、
前記第1電池セル群のいずれかの電池セルに電気的に接続された前記第1集積回路の端子と、前記第2電池セル群のいずれかの電池セルに電気的に接続された前記第2集積回路の端子との間を、コンデンサを介して交流結合する接続回路と、を備える電池管理装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記絶縁素子はコンデンサであることを特徴とする電池管理装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記第1集積回路の端子の電位は、前記信号伝送路を介して前記第2集積回路に前記信号を送信する前記第1集積回路の送信端子の基準電位であり、
前記第2集積回路の端子の電位は、前記第1集積回路から前記信号伝送路を介して送信された前記信号を受信する前記第2集積回路の受信端子の基準電位である電池管理装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記第1集積回路の端子は、前記第1電池セル群において最低電位の電池セルの負極側に接続されており、
前記第2集積回路の端子は、前記第2電池セル群において最低電位の電池セルの負極側に接続されている電池管理装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記第1集積回路の端子は、前記第1電池セル群において最高電位の電池セルの正極側に接続されており、
前記第2集積回路の端子は、前記第2電池セル群において最低電位の電池セルの負極側に接続されている電池管理装置。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記接続回路は、前記第1集積回路の端子と前記第2集積回路の端子との間を、直列に接続された複数のコンデンサを介して交流結合する電池管理装置。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の電池管理装置において、
前記接続回路は、当該接続回路に設けられたコンデンサに直列接続された電流制限素子を有する電池管理装置。
