Claims (12)
- バックライトモジュールであって、
第一発光ユニット及び第一導光板を有し、前記第一発光ユニットが前記第一導光板の第一入光面の近傍に位置する第一面光源アセンブリーと、
前記第一面光源アセンブリーの上方に位置し、かつ、第二発光ユニット及び第二導光板を有し、前記第二発光ユニットが前記第二導光板の第二入光面の近傍に位置する第二面光源アセンブリーと、
前記第二面光源アセンブリーの上方に位置し、かつ第一方向に配列された複数のプリズムピラーを含み、前記複数のプリズムピラーの先端が前記第二面光源アセンブリーに向いており、前記第一方向が前記第一入光面及び前記第二入光面に垂直である第一光学シートと、
前記第一面光源アセンブリーと前記第二面光源アセンブリーとの間に位置し、所定の入射角度範囲内の入射光線を透過させる光フィルター素子とを含む、バックライトモジュール。 - 前記第一面光源アセンブリーは第一面光源を提供し、前記第二面光源アセンブリーは第二面光源を提供し、
前記第一面光源と前記第二面光源が前記第一光学シートを透過した後、前記第一方向の視角においてそれぞれ第一配光分布と第二配光分布を有し、前記第一配光分布は二つの第一波頂を有し、前記第二配光分布は第二波頂を有し、各前記第一波頂に対応する視角の絶対値が前記第二波頂に対応する視角の絶対値より大きく、かつ前記第一配光分布の半値幅が前記第二配光分布の半値幅より大きい、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。 - 前記第一発光ユニットと前記第二発光ユニットが共にオンの場合を広視角モードと定義し、前記第二発光ユニットがオンでありかつ前記第一発光ユニットがオフの場合を狭視角モードと定義する、請求項2に記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第一面光源が前記第一導光板から離れる時、前記第一方向の視角において第三配光分布を有し、
前記第二面光源が前記第二導光板から離れる時、前記第一方向の視角において第四配光分布を有し、
前記第三配光分布の半値幅が前記第四配光分布の半値幅より大きい又は等しい、請求項2に記載のバックライトモジュール。 - 前記光フィルター素子は回析格子構造を有する、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記バックライトモジュールは、前記第一導光板と前記光フィルター素子との間に位置する少なくとも一つの第二光学シートをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記バックライトモジュールは、前記第二導光板と前記光フィルター素子との間に位置する透明バック板をさらに含み、
前記透明バック板は、前記第二導光板からの光線の一部を反射させ、かつ一部を透過させる、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。 - 前記バックライトモジュールは、前記第一導光板の下方に位置するバック板をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記バックライトモジュールは、前記第一光学シートの上方に位置する第三光学シートをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 請求項1に記載のバックライトモジュールを駆動させるバックライトモジュールの駆動方法であって、
広視角面光源を提供したい場合、前記バックライトモジュールの前記第一発光ユニットと前記第二発光ユニットを発光させるステップと、
狭視角面光源を提供したい場合、前記第二発光ユニットを発光させ、かつ前記第一発光ユニットをオフするステップとを含む、バックライトモジュールの駆動方法。 - 前記第一発光ユニット又は前記第二発光ユニットを発光させる場合、前記第一発光ユニット又は前記第二発光ユニットに入力される電流を調整するステップをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のバックライトモジュールの駆動方法。
- 表示装置であって、
請求項1ないし9のいずれか一項に記載のバックライトモジュールと、
前記バックライトモジュールの上方に配置された表示パネルとを含む、表示装置。
