Abstract
Cax-y-z-aAaAl2-m-n-o-pOd:Euy,REz,Bm,Znn,Coo,Scp I
第二の長残光蛍光体は、式IIのものである。
Srx-y-z-aAaAl14-m-n-o-pOd:Euy,REz,Bm,Znn,Coo,Scp II
第三の蛍光体は、300〜500nmの波長域の波長で励起される非長残光蛍光体である。ブレンド又は蛍光体が2以上の層中に存在する製品にも関する。3種類の蛍光体を含むブレンド又は層状構造体は、いったん励起されると周辺光が無い状態で白く見えることができる。

式中、xは0.75〜1.3であり、yは約0.0005〜約0.1であり、zは約0.0005〜約0.1であり、aは約0〜約0.2であり、AはSr及びBaの1種以上であり、mは約0〜約0.3であり、nは約0〜約0.1であり、oは約0〜約0.01であり、pは約0〜約0.10であり、REは任意の希土類イオン、特に、Nd3+及びDy3+の1種以上であり、dは約3.945〜約4.075であり、特に4である。

式中、xは3.0〜5.2であり、yは約0.0005〜約0.1であり、zは約0.0005〜約0.1であり、aは約0〜約0.2であり、AはCa及びBaの1種以上であり、mは約0〜約0.3であり、nは約0〜約0.1であり、oは約0〜約0.01であり、pは約0〜約0.10であり、REは任意の希土類イオン、特に、Nd3+及びDy3+の1種以上であり、dは約23.945〜約26.425であり、特に25である。コバルト及びユウロピウムの酸化状態は2+であり、式I及びIIの他のすべての元素の酸化状態は、本明細書の記載から当業者には明らかであろう。

Claims (23)
- 第一の長残光蛍光体と第二の長残光蛍光体と第三の非長残光蛍光体のブレンドであって、第一の長残光蛍光体が以下の式Iのものであり、第二の長残光蛍光体が以下の式IIのものであり、第三の蛍光体が300〜500nmの波長域の波長で励起される非長残光蛍光体である、蛍光体ブレンド。

- 第三の蛍光体が、3.5MgO−0.5MgF2−GeO2;Mn4+(MFG);Y3Al5O12;Ce(YAG:Ce3+);(Tb,Y,Lu,La,Gd)3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce3+(TAG:Ce);(Ca,Sr)8(Mg,Zn)(SiO4)4Cl2:Eu2+,Mn2+(CASI)及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 1種以上の追加の蛍光体をさらに含む、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- ブレンド中の第三の蛍光体、第二の長残光蛍光体及び第一の長残光蛍光体の量の比(重量%で)が約2〜3:2〜4:3〜5であり、第三の蛍光体と第二の蛍光体と第一の蛍光体の合計量がブレンドの100重量%である、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 前記比が約3:3:4.5である、請求項5記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 前記比が約2.5:3:4.5である、請求項5記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- いったん励起されると、周辺光がなくても白くみえる、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 第二の長残光蛍光体の式IIがSr4-y-zAl14O25:Eu2+ y,Dy3+ zである、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 第一の長残光蛍光体の式IがCa1-y-zAl2O4:Eu2+ y,Nd3+ zである、請求項9記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 第三の蛍光体が、3.5MgO−0.5MgF2−GeO2;Mn4+(MFG);Y3Al5O12;Ce(YAG:Ce3+);(Tb,Y,Lu,La,Gd)3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce3+(TAG:Ce);(Ca,Sr)8(Mg,Zn)(SiO4)4Cl2:Eu2+,Mn2+(CASI)及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項10記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 第三の蛍光体が、黄色発光体、黄−橙色発光体、橙−赤色発光体、赤色発光体及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンド。
- 請求項1記載の蛍光体ブレンドを含む製品。
- 各層に第一の長残光蛍光体、第二の長残光蛍光体及び第三の蛍光体の1種以上を有する2以上の層を含む製品であって、第一の長残光蛍光体が以下の式Iのものであり、第二の長残光蛍光体が以下の式IIのものであり、第三の蛍光体が300〜500nmの波長域の波長で励起される非長残光蛍光体である、製品。

- 1種以上の追加の蛍光体を含む、請求項14記載の製品。
- 第一の長残光蛍光体、第二の長残光蛍光体及び第三の非長残光蛍光体がいったん励起されると、周辺光がなくても蛍光体からの発光が白くみえる、請求項14記載の製品。
- 第二の長残光蛍光体の式IIがSr4-y-zAl14O25:Eu2+ y,Dy3+ zである、請求項14記載の製品。
- 第一の長残光蛍光体の式IがCa1-y-zAl2O4:Eu2+ y,Nd3+ zである、請求項19記載の製品。
- 第三の蛍光体が、3.5MgO−0.5MgF2−GeO2;Mn4+(MFG);Y3Al5O12;Ce(YAG:Ce3+);(Tb,Y,Lu,La,Gd)3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce3+(TAG:Ce);(Ca,Sr)8(Mg,Zn)(SiO4)4Cl2:Eu2+,Mn2+(CASI)及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項20記載の製品。
- 第三の蛍光体が、黄色発光体、黄−橙色発光体、橙−赤色発光体、赤色発光体及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項14記載の製品。
- 3層を含んでおり、第一の長残光蛍光体、第二の長残光蛍光体及び第三の非長残光蛍光体が各々別々の層に存在する、請求項14記載の製品。
