Abstract
Description
− SnO2を、CeO2、MnO2(特許文献1の教示を参照)、F(特許文献2の教示を参照)、Br(特許文献3の教示を参照)などの補助的清澄剤と関連付ける。そのような補助的清澄剤は、望ましくない着色の原因である、および/または高価である、および/または毒性である;
− As2O3および/またはSb2O3に使用した温度よりも高い温度で溶融および/または清澄を行う。このことは、特に経済的観点から、興味深くはない。
このような状況において、本発明者等が、ヒ素およびアンチモンを含まないが、As2O3および/またはSb2O3を含有する従来技術の組成物と同じ工業条件下で、特に温度(1,700℃未満、好ましくは1,680℃未満)の条件下で、清澄剤としてSnO2と共に溶融され、清澄されるβ石英ガラスセラミック、特に透明のβ石英ガラスセラミックの前駆体組成物(ガラス)を提案することが適していると思われた。このことは、経済的観点からも特に興味深い。これに関して、本発明者等は、ガラスが、1,700℃未満の、実際に、1,680℃未満の温度で、工業条件下で溶融されるように、ガラスは、1,650℃未満、実際に1,640℃未満の温度で300dPa・s(ポアズ)の粘度を有するべきであることを実験により示した。
1) 温度エージングに対する耐性に関して最適化されている(要件の第1条項)。開示されたガラスセラミックは、β石英結晶以外の結晶(特にβスポジュメンおよびセルシアンの)を感知できる量(都合よくは、全結晶相の20質量%未満)で形成せずに、830℃で100時間のエージング熱処理に耐えることができるのが実証された(明らかに、830℃で100時間に亘り耐える材料は、それより低い温度ではより長く耐える。本発明者等は、例えば、この処理(830℃での100時間)が、少なくとも、775℃での1,000時間の熱処理と同じほど厳しいことに気付いた);
2) ヒ素も、アンチモンも含有せず、1650℃未満、都合よくは1640℃未満の温度で、300dPa・s(ポアズ)の粘度を有する溶融ガラスから得られる(要件の第2条項の第1部分);このガラスは、5,000dPa・s超の液相線粘度も有する(要件の第2条項の第2部分)。
Claims (5)
- 主結晶相としてβ石英固溶体を含有するガラスセラミックにおいて、酸化物の質量パーセントで表される、該ガラスセラミックの組成は、避けられない微量を除いて、酸化ヒ素および酸化アンチモンを含まず、その質量の少なくとも98%について、66〜70%のSiO2、18〜<20%のAl2O3、3〜4%のLi2O、0.5〜1.5%のMgO、1〜2.2%のZnO、2.5〜3.2%のTiO2、1.2〜1.8%のZrO2、0.2〜0.45%のSnO2、1〜3%のBaO、0〜2%のSrO、1〜3%のBaO+SrO、0〜<0.3%のCaO、0〜<0.3%のNa2O、0〜<0.3%のK2O、0〜<0.6%のNa2O+K2O+CaO、0〜2%のP2O5、0〜0.12%のFe2O3、0〜2%の少なくとも1種類の染料を含有することを特徴とするガラスセラミック。
- 前記組成が18から19.7%のAl2O3を含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のガラスセラミック。
- 前記組成が、1.2から3%のBaOおよび0から1.8%のSrOを含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のガラスセラミック。
- 60nm以下のサイズを有するβ石英晶子を含み、全結晶含有量が70から95%であり、全結晶含有量の85質量%超が前記β石英晶子からなることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のガラスセラミック。
- 前記組成が、染料として酸化バナジウムおよび酸化コバルトを含有することを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載のガラスセラミック。
