Abstract
Description
本書類における「電気化学アレイ」とは、電気化学セルの秩序だったグループを指し得る。アレイは、例えば平坦な形状でも円柱形状でもよい。電気化学セルは、端部集電式燃料セル(Edge−collected fuel cell)といった燃料セルを含み得る。電気化学セルはバッテリーを含み得る。電気化学セルは、ガルバーニ電池、電解槽、電解質セル、またはこれらの組み合わせを含み得る。燃料電池の例には、プロトン交換膜燃料電池、直接メタノール燃料電池、アルカリ燃料電池、リン酸型燃料電池、溶融炭酸塩型燃料電池、固体酸化物型燃料電池、あるいはこれらの組み合わせが含まれ得る。電気化学電池は、亜鉛空気電池、亜鉛空気バッテリー、またはこれらの組み合わせといった金属空気電池を含み得る。

- 一つ以上の燃料セルに近接するインタフェース構造であって、前記一つ以上の燃料セルに近接する一つ以上の環境条件に影響を与えるように構成されるインタフェース構造、を含む、燃料電池カバー。
- 前記インタフェース構造が、前記一つ以上の燃料セルに近接する一つ以上の環境条件に影響を与えるように構成された適応材料と、取り外し可能な多孔構造とのうちの少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の燃料電池カバー。
- 前記インタフェース構造が、大気汚染物質を除外するように構成されたフィルタ部を含む、請求項1に記載の燃料電池カバー。
- 前記インタフェース構造が、機械的に駆動式の通気孔と、機械的に駆動式のアパーチャを有する多孔材料とのうちの少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の燃料電池カバー。
- 前記インタフェース構造が、形状記憶適応材料を含む、請求項1に記載の燃料電池カバー。
