Abstract
【構成】 2列のコンタクト群20a,20bが幅方向に配列されたハウジング10と、ハウジング10の外面を取り囲むシールドカバー30と、シールドカバー30とコンタクト群20a,20bとの間に配置されたインピーダンス整合用のシールド板40a,40bとを備えている。シールド板40a,40bは、コンタクト群20a,20bの幅方向の長さに対応した幅を有した金属板であってコンタクト群20a,20bに対向しつつ各々配設されている。

Claims (8)
- 相手側コネクタが正面側に嵌合可能な形状を有した絶縁体であって同コネクタのコンタクトに対応してコンタクト群が幅方向に配列されたハウジングと、ハウジングの外面を取り囲むシールドカバーとを有し、コンタクト群を構成するコンタクトは、基端部がハウジングに形成された端子挿入孔に保持固定され、先端部が端子挿入孔から出て露出している電気コネクタにおいて、コンタクト群の幅方向の長さに対応した幅を有した金属板であってシールドカバーと当該コンタクト群との間に且つ当該コンタクト群に対向しつつ配設されたインピーダンス整合用のシールド板を備えていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、ハウジングには2段のコンタクト群が位相をずらせて配置されており、一方のコンタクト群に対応した一方のシールド板と他方のコンタクト群に対応した他方のシールド板とが前記コンタクト群と同一位相ずらせて配置されていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、シールドカバーは、相手側コネクタがハウジングに嵌合された状態で同コネクタの外周シールドに接触可能になっていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、ハウジングの外面にはシールド板を収めて位置決めするための凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項4記載の電気コネクタにおいて、シールド板にはこれが凹部に収められた状態でシールドカバーの内面に接触可能なバネ部材が設けられていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、シールド板がシールドカバーに一体的に形成され、シールドカバーの一部を延ばして折り返したものがシールド板となっていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、コンタクト群に含まれる特定のコンタクトのインピーダンスを調整をするためにシールド板のうち当該コンタクトに対向し得る部分の相手側コネクタ挿入方向の長さが他のコンタクトの該当部分に比べて異なっていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。
- 請求項1記載の電気コネクタにおいて、コンタクト群に含まれる特定のコンタクトのインピーダンスを調整をするためにシールド板のうち当該コンタクトに対向し得る部分の面上の高さ位置が他の部分に比べて異なっていることを特徴とする電気ソケット。
