Abstract
Description
ねじ付きシャフトおよびそれと係合したナットを含む小型超音波リニアモータアセンブリを含む撮像素子およびシリンジポンプ素子。
本出願は、2004年9月13日に出願された本出願人の同時係属出願である米国特許出願第10/918,041号(そしてこれは2003年9月8日に出願された米国特許出願第10/657,325号の一部継続出願である)の一部継続出願である。前述の特許出願の各内容は、参照により本明細書に組み入れられる。
圧電・電歪、静電または電磁技術を使用する変換器は、ナノメートルスケールでの精密な位置決めに非常に有用である。圧電素子の場合、セラミックスがコンデンサに形成され、このコンデンサが、充電され、放電するとき、形を変えて力変換器または位置アクチュエータを形成する。位置アクチュエータとして使用される場合、圧電セラミックスの形状変化は概ね印加電圧に比例する。圧電アクチュエータは、数十マイクロメートルの一般的なストローク長に相当する、セラミックスの長さの約0.1%までの範囲に限定される。高剛性およびナノメートル精度の圧電アクチュエータは非常に有用であるが、多くの用途にはより大きなストロークが求められる。
本発明にしたがって、ねじ付きシャフトアセンブリを駆動するための装置に接続された光学要素を含む光学アセンブリであって、ねじ付きシャフトアセンブリを駆動するための該装置が、ねじ付きシャフトおよびそれと係合したナットを含む、光学アセンブリが提供される。アセンブリは、該ナットを超音波振動に供し、それによって該シャフトを回転させると同時に軸方向に平行移動させるための手段を含む。アセンブリはまた、該シャフトに軸力を加えるための手段を含む。
本明細書の最初の部分では、本出願人は、小型超音波リニアモータを記載する。本明細書の第二の部分では、本出願人は、そのようなモータに接続された光学素子を含む光学アセンブリを記載する。
Claims (24)
- 回転軸を有するねじ付きシャフトおよびそれと係合したねじ付きナットを含む、ねじ付きシャフトアセンブリを駆動するための装置であって、該アセンブリが、該ねじ付きナットを超音波振動に供し、それによって該ねじ付きシャフトを回転させると同時に該ナットを通して軸方向に平行移動させ、したがって該軸方向に軸力を加えるための手段を含む、装置。
- ねじ付きシャフトが、軸方向における荷重に動作的に接続されている、請求項1記載の装置。
- 荷重が可動である、請求項2記載の装置。
- 荷重が、レンズ、画像センサーおよび屈曲部を含む光学アセンブリを含み、該屈曲部が、該画像センサーの位置と関連して該レンズの軸方向に沿って実質的に直線誘導を提供する、請求項3記載の装置。
- 光学アセンブリを含むカメラをさらに含む、請求項4記載の装置。
- 軸方向における軸力が、レンズ、画像センサー、ズームレンズおよびそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される光学装置を動かす、請求項5記載の装置。

- 回転軸を有するねじ付きシャフトおよびそれと係合したねじ付きナットを含む、ねじ付きシャフトアセンブリを駆動するための装置であって、
(a)該アセンブリが、該ねじ付きナットを超音波振動に供し、それによって該ねじ付きシャフトを回転させると同時に該ナットを通して軸方向に平行移動させ、したがって該軸方向に軸力を加えるための手段を含み;
(b)該回転および該ナットを通した該軸方向の該平行移動が、該超音波振動の任意の単一の振幅の振幅より大きい距離にわたって起きる、
