Description

The present invention relates to a medical drainage bag, and more particularly to a drainage bag used in a low-pressure suction / discharge device.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a drainage bag used for collecting body fluid such as when removing body fluid such as blood that continues to exude in a body cavity of a patient from the body cavity is known. Such a drainage bag is provided with an inflow hole for inflow of body fluid, and this hole is connected to a catheter inserted into the body cavity of the patient. Body fluid generated on the patient side passes through the catheter, enters the inflow hole, and is guided into the drainage bag.

The drainage bag is provided with a gas outlet hole for suction, and the hole communicates with an external negative pressure source. By reducing the pressure in the drainage bag and the body fluid passage, the body fluid in the body cavity is sucked and the body fluid is positively stored in the drainage bag. The drainage bag is provided with a water seal to prevent the gas from flowing back into the patient when the patient has a negative pressure higher than the suction pressure. The outlet hole is usually provided with an overflow prevention valve so that the drainage liquid in the drainage bag does not enter the negative pressure source.

Here, for example, in Patent Document 1, the inner surface of the drainage bag or the flow path of the drainage liquid is covered with an antifoaming agent, and the bubbles sucked together with the drainage liquid are eliminated by the chemical action of the antifoaming agent. It has been proposed not to enter the water seal.

Further, such a drainage bag is provided with a narrow tube portion connecting the water seal portion and the upper portion of the liquid collection portion, as disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 2, and the upper portion of the narrow tube portion is widened to form a water trap. A water retaining chamber that functions as a basin is formed. And a baffle plate part is formed so as to be almost orthogonal to the line connecting the flow port on the narrow tube part side of the water retention chamber and the flow port on the liquid collecting part side of the water retention chamber, and the liquid in the water seal part is It is designed to prevent backflowing back toward the liquid collection part.
JP 2002-369879 A Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-107843

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional drainage bag, since it has a structure in which drainage flows directly into the drainage bag, a foamy aspirate is mixed in this drainage, and postoperative drainage etc. If the foamed suction is sucked into the bag during the suction, the foamed suction is not dripped into the drainage tank before the drainage tank is full. It sometimes flowed into the water seal part.

And the bubble entrained in the water seal part is mixed in the liquid tank on the negative pressure side of the water seal part and the liquid level becomes foamy, so that the apparent liquid level of the water seal part rises and is provided in the suction port In some cases, the overflow prevention valve is blocked by the bubbles and stops the suction from the suction port. On the other hand, if this bubble flows into the suction device of the negative pressure source from the suction port, it may cause contamination.

Further, the drainage bag described in Patent Document 1 employs a configuration in which the inner surface of the drainage bag and the flow path of the drainage are covered with an antifoaming agent, but the surface area to be covered is limited. There is a tendency that the foaming agent tends to be insufficient, and the antifoaming agent and the foam are not sufficiently in contact with each other, so that the expected antifoaming action cannot be exhibited.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and prevents the occurrence of bubbles in the water seal portion, thereby preventing malfunction caused by the suction of the overflow prevention valve and being connected to the suction port. It is an object of the present invention to provide a drainage bag that prevents the occurrence of contamination on an instrument.

The drainage bag according to the present invention employs the following means in order to solve the above problems.
The present invention includes a drainage tank for storing drainage, an inflow port formed at an upper part of the drainage tank for inflowing drainage, and a water seal connected at the lower part to the upper part of the drainage tank. In a drainage bag including a tank and a suction port formed at an upper part of the water-sealed tank and communicating with a negative pressure source, a connection for connecting the upper part of the drainage tank and the lower part of the water-sealed tank An antifoaming agent carrier containing an antifoaming agent is disposed in an upper part of the connecting pipe.

According to the present invention, the foam of the drainage liquid that has entered the connecting pipe through the upper part of the drainage tank is defoamed by the chemical action of the antifoaming agent of the antifoaming agent carrier arranged at the upper part in the connecting pipe. To liquefy. And since an antifoamer will be contained in this liquid, even if it flows down a connecting pipe as a liquid and enters into a water seal part, a bubble does not stand in a water seal part.

In addition, according to the present invention, even when a pressure that reversely flows the liquid in the water seal portion works due to the patient's body cavity connected to the inflow port temporarily becoming a high negative pressure, Since the arranged antifoaming agent carrier functions like the baffle plate portion in the prior art, the liquid in the water seal portion is prevented from flowing back toward the drainage tank. For this reason, when the inlet side is temporarily at a high negative pressure, the liquid in the water seal part that flows backward through the connecting pipe is bounced back to the defoaming agent carrier and prevented from entering the drainage tank. Don't get in.

Another drainage bag according to the present invention is characterized in that, in the above, the antifoaming agent carrier is formed by adding a defoaming agent to a porous material.

According to the present invention, an antifoaming agent can be contained in a large number of fine pores of a porous material such as a sponge material, a nonwoven fabric, paper, a filter such as a filtration membrane, and a sintered body. The agent can be held for a long time and a large contact area between the foam and the antifoaming agent can be secured. In addition, since the defoamer carrier is formed of such a porous material, even when the inlet side is temporarily at a high negative pressure as described above, the backflow of the liquid in the water seal portion is further ensured. Can be prevented.

According to the present invention, the foam-like aspirate contained in the drainage is defoamed at least in the upper part of the connecting pipe and becomes liquid. For this reason, even if the foam that has entered from the inflow port flows into the connecting pipe through the upper part of the drainage bag, the foam can be defoamed and liquefied by the antifoam carrier provided in the upper part of the connecting pipe. . And since an antifoaming agent will be contained in this liquid, since foaming does not occur in the water seal part even if it flows down the connecting pipe, it is possible to prevent foaming in the water seal part in the water seal tank. it can.

In addition, when the inlet side is temporarily at a high negative pressure, the liquid that has flowed back through the connecting pipe from the water seal portion is prevented from entering by being bounced back to the defoamer carrier, so the liquid in the water seal portion It is possible to prevent the liquid from entering the drainage tank.

Embodiments of a drainage bag according to the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a front view illustrating an example of a drainage bag 10 according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the drainage bag 10.

The drainage bag 10 is used for sucking and storing the drainage from the wound after the operation of the patient's lungs or the like. As shown in FIG. 1, the drainage bag 10 is formed in a drainage tank 12 for storing drainage generated in a body cavity of a patient, and an upper part of the drainage tank 12, and flows in drainage from the outside. An inflow port 14, a water sealing tank 16 connected at the lower part to the upper part of the drainage tank 12, and a suction port formed at the upper part of the water sealing tank 16 and communicating with an external negative pressure source (not shown). 18 and is configured integrally.

As shown in FIG. 1, this drainage bag 10 is made of a transparent material so that the level of drainage accumulated in the drainage tank 12 and the level of water seal water in the water sealing tank 16 can be observed from the outside. In particular, a transparent hard plastic is used so that the volume in the drainage bag 10 does not change even when a negative pressure is applied. Examples of such plastics include polycarbonate, polysulfone, acrylic resin, polystyrene, and styrene-butadiene resin. Further, the wall surface of the drainage bag 10 is provided with a scale for indicating the amount of liquid accumulated in each tank.

As shown in FIG. 2, the drainage tank 12 is partitioned by a first drainage tank 24 provided immediately below the inlet 14 and a partition wall 26 extending in the vertical direction and adjacent to the first drainage tank 24. The second drainage tank 28 is provided.
The upper side of the partition wall 26 is open, and the upper portions of the first drainage tank 24 and the second drainage tank 28 are in communication. A communication hole 30 extending in the lateral direction is provided on the side of the upper portion of the second drainage tank 28 not adjacent to the first drainage tank 24.
The communication hole 30 is provided adjacent to the second drainage tank 28 and communicates with an upper portion of a connection pipe 32 extending in the vertical direction. The connecting pipe 32 is connected to the lower part of the water sealing tank 16 at the lower end thereof.

A part of the upper portion of the connecting pipe 32 is widened to form a substantially rectangular parallelepiped water reservoir chamber 36. And in this water reservoir chamber 36, the defoamer carrier 20 containing the defoamer is fixedly accommodated.
The defoamer carrier 20 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and includes at least a lower flow port 38 on the connection pipe 32 side of the water reservoir chamber 36, and a flow port 40 of the communication hole 30 on the second drainage tank 28 side of the water reservoir chamber 36. The liquid that moves between the flow port 40 and the lower flow port 38 does not flow without contacting the antifoam carrier 20.
As the defoamer carrier 20, for example, a structure in which a defoamer is contained in a porous material such as a sponge material, a nonwoven fabric, paper, a filter such as a filter membrane, and a sintered body can be used.

The operation of the above configuration will be described.
The foam that has been sucked in with the drainage enters from the inflow port 14, travels along the upper part 23 of the first drainage tank 24 and the second drainage tank 28, and substantially in the horizontal direction toward the inlet of the communication hole 30. Move to.
Then, the foam enters the communication hole 30, passes through the communication hole 30, and enters the water reservoir 36 through the circulation port 40.
The foam which has entered the water reservoir chamber 36 is defoamed by the chemical action of the antifoaming agent contained in the antifoaming agent carrier 20 by contacting the antifoaming agent carrier 20 disposed in the water reservoir chamber 36. Liquefy. Then, this liquefied drained liquid exits from the lower circulation port 38 and flows down the connecting pipe 32 and enters the water seal 34. Here, since the liquefied effluent contains an antifoaming agent, even if this liquid flows down the connecting pipe 32 and enters the water sealing part 34, no bubbles are formed in the water sealing part 34. .

Thus, by providing the antifoaming agent carrier 20 in the water reservoir chamber 36 at the top of the connecting pipe 32, at least the foamy suction material that has entered the water reservoir chamber 36 from the drainage tank 12 is contained in the connecting pipe 32. It can be defoamed and liquefied at the top, and an antifoaming agent can be included in this liquid.
For this reason, even if the foam that has entered from the inlet 14 flows along the upper part of the drainage bag 10 and flows into the connecting pipe 32, the foam is provided in the defoamer carrier provided in the upper water reservoir 36 in the connecting pipe 32. 20 is defoamed and liquefied, and flows down the connecting pipe 32 as a liquid substance containing a defoaming agent in the liquid. Therefore, it is possible to prevent bubbles from entering the water sealing portion 34 in the water sealing tank 16 and It is possible to prevent bubbles from being generated at the sealing portion 34.

Next, the operation when the patient's body cavity is temporarily at a high negative pressure will be described.
When the patient's body cavity is temporarily at a high negative pressure, a pressure that causes the liquid in the water seal 34 to flow back toward the drainage tank 12 through the inlet 14 is temporarily inside the drainage bag 10. Thus, the liquid in the water seal portion 34 tries to move up the connecting pipe 32 to the drainage tank 12 side.
In this case, the liquid in the water sealing portion 34 that flows backward through the connecting pipe 32 is bounced back against the antifoam carrier 20 disposed in the water reservoir chamber 36 above the connecting pipe 32, and thus enters the drainage tank 12. I can't. For this reason, even if the patient's body cavity temporarily has a high negative pressure, the liquid in the water seal 34 does not enter the drainage tank 12.
As described above, the antifoam carrier 20 functions so as to function as a conventional baffle plate, thereby preventing the backflow of the liquid in the water sealing portion 34 when the patient's body cavity temporarily has a high negative pressure. be able to.

As the antifoaming agent used in the present invention, an antifoaming agent that is usually used for coating on the surface of medical equipment in order to prevent foaming of the drainage can be used, and is not particularly limited. A silicone-based antifoaming agent may be used.

As described above, in the drainage bag 10 according to the present invention, the foam-like suction material contained in the drainage is at least in the water reservoir chamber 36 above the connecting pipe 32 connected to the upstream side of the water sealing tank 16. Defoamed and becomes liquid.
For this reason, even if the foam that has entered from the inlet 14 passes through the upper portion 23 of the drainage bag 10 and enters the communication hole 30, the foam is defoamed and liquefied by the defoamer carrier 20 provided in the water reservoir chamber 36. Then, the connecting pipe 32 flows down and flows into the water sealing part 34 in the water sealing tank 16 while containing the antifoaming agent, so that foaming in the water sealing part 34 in the water sealing tank 16 can be prevented.

As described above, the drainage bag 10 according to the present invention can be defoamed in the water reservoir chamber 36 in the upper part of the connecting pipe 32 connected to the upstream side of the water sealing tank 16, and the water sealing part 34 includes Since the antifoaming agent is dissolved, the generation of bubbles at the water sealing portion 34 can be eliminated. For this reason, in the drainage bag 10 which concerns on this invention, since the overflow prevention valve (not shown) provided in the suction opening 18 does not detect the bubble which raises the inside of the water seal tank 16, there is no possibility of malfunctioning, and a bubble Since it does not flow into the suction device (not shown) of the negative pressure source, the suction device is not contaminated.

Further, the drainage bag 10 according to the present invention includes an antifoaming agent in a large number of fine holes of a porous material such as a sponge material, a nonwoven fabric, paper, a filter such as a filtration membrane, and a sintered body. Therefore, the antifoaming agent can be held for a long time and a large contact area between the foam and the antifoaming agent can be secured. In addition, since the defoamer carrier is formed of such a porous material, even when the inlet side is temporarily at a high negative pressure as described above, the backflow of the liquid in the water seal portion is further ensured. Can be prevented.

Note that the shapes, combinations, operation procedures, and the like of the constituent members shown in the above-described embodiments are merely examples, and various modifications can be made based on design requirements and the like without departing from the gist of the present invention.
