Abstract
Description
【0001】
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention repels termites using sound waves.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Although termites are insects, they are not membrane stalks such as bees and ants, and their scientific classification is rather difficult and does not seem to have been conclusively established yet. However, in general, they are incorporated into direct support, pulse support, and bite order. It is well known that termites live in large groups, mainly queens, and that each is a big eater. Therefore, it is not only staple tree, but also bites cloth, paper, concrete, rubber and vinyl. Among them, house termites and mountain termites are also called wet wood pests, and they nest only in human houses. Their survival distribution ranges from Aomori in the north to Australia in the south. These termites nest in homes, causing great damage and sometimes even destroying homes. In order to prevent damage from these termites, eradication and prevention measures are being studied. Although it is controlled and prevented by drugs and gases, the sprayed drugs and gases are powerful and highly toxic, so they are effective and at the same time involve considerable danger to the human body.
[0003]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is intended to reduce the damage and effects of termites on houses.
[Means for solving the problem] Generally, ants have eyes and antennas, and they mainly use antennae as a means of communication. However, termites have some musical and strange qualities. It means that termites can scout around and whistle, and fellow termites can hear it. In addition, these sounds are alerts, shouts for rescue, and are said to be a kind of voice. Entomologists believe that hearing these sounds suggests that termites communicate their will not only by antennae but also by a somewhat segmental language. So, unlike bees and ants that seem completely deaf, hearing seems to play a very important role in the collective life of these termites, which have a sensitive hearing. The present invention studies the danger signal sound emitted by termites, emits the sound, and makes the sensitive termites sense the sound.
[0005]
[Example] Termites are not attacking insects. If you detect a danger, you will not be able to approach or return to the nest and stop outdoor activities.
[0006]
As described above, when the sound wave transmitter is arranged under the floor of a house and emits a danger sound of termites, the termites having a sensitive sense of hearing cannot recognize and approach the alarm from the peers. This (ultrasonic) acoustic repellent in termites does not have the toxicity of chemical spraying or gaseous control. Therefore, it is safe with little effect on human damage. By using this device, the above double effect can be expected.
