There is one described in 458400. In this conventional technique, the base of the hair tuft is planted in the hair tuft insertion hole provided in the substrate provided on the tip side of the handle, and a filler is filled around the base of the tuft on the back side of the board. The hair bundle is fixed to the substrate.

Due to bending stress, the adhesive portion between the substrate and the filler is easily peeled off and easily comes off. When the above-mentioned filler is peeled off from the substrate provided on the distal end side of the handle, the cross-sectional strength on the substrate side is immediately reduced, the substrate may be broken, and the oral cavity may be damaged.

However, since only the head 14 is filled with the back surface, a small amount of filling is required. Further, since the secondary filling material is filled into the recess 16 having substantially the same thickness, the handle 13
The molding conditions (conditions such as filling pressure, temperature, filling speed, etc.) can be set regardless of the shape. On the other hand, for example, in the method of filling (secondarily filling) the head portion and a part of the handle portion, molding conditions corresponding to the shape of the handle portion other than the head portion are required. Comparing the two forms, it can be said that the present form is more stable in quality because the molding conditions suitable for the head 14 can be set.

The required filling pressure can be applied with high precision.

For example, polypropylene resins having different physical properties can be used depending on formability and quality. It is possible to improve. If necessary, a different material (e.g., elastomer) may be used to manufacture a toothbrush having a unique appearance including elasticity and color as a toothbrush.

It is preferable to heat the substrate 11 or to raise the temperature of the mold 71 to increase the thermal adhesiveness, and to increase the melting temperature of the filler 19 itself when it is injected. Furthermore, it is preferable to increase the injection pressure of the filler 19 from the viewpoint of improving the adhesive force with the substrate 11 and the hair bundle 18 and improving the appearance (reducing sink marks). However, if the injection pressure is too high, the substrate 11
Since a leakage (burr) of the filler occurs between the hair bundle 18 and the bristle bundle 18, it is necessary to set an appropriate pressure. In addition, as a method of strengthening the adhesive force, a method of injecting the filling material 19 after performing corona discharge treatment or plasma discharge treatment on the surface of the substrate 11 or a method of applying a primer agent on the surface of the substrate 11 may be used. good.

In forming the recesses, the thickness t1 of the substrate surface 16B of the recess 16 is 0.5 mm or more, the thickness t2 of the rising wall 15 is 0.3 mm or more, and the opening end of the recess 16 separating the thickness t2 of the rising wall 15 from the substrate surface 16B. It is effective to reduce the thickness toward the side. If t1 and t2 are too thin, a sufficient cooling temperature difference between the outer surface and the inner surface of the rising wall 15 cannot be obtained, and the collapse deformation due to the difference in the amount of shrinkage cannot be sufficiently generated.

Is formed so as to fall toward the inside of the concave portion 16, and the fall forming portion 15A of the rising wall 15 serves as a stopper portion 101 for the filling material 19. Therefore, even if repeated bending stress is applied to the bonded portion between the substrate 11 and the filling material 19 at the time of tooth brushing, the filling material 19 can be prevented from coming off from the substrate 11, and breakage due to reduction in cross-sectional strength on the substrate 11 side occurs. Etc. can be avoided.

It is due to the adoption of (c). That is, when the filling material 19 is filled in the molding device 70 and the toothbrush 10 is taken out from the mold 71, the collapse forming portion 15A is provided on the rising wall 15 of the concave portion 16 in the substrate 11 by the above (b) and (c). ,
The collapse forming portion 15A is used as a stopper portion 101 for the filling material 19.

In addition to the above-mentioned (b) and (c) of the embodiment, the press molding unit 73 of the molding device 70 (mold 71) is further added. That is, the molding device 7
The substrate 1 is filled with the filling material 19 using 0 (die 71).
1 is covered with a mold 71 around the rising wall 15 of the recess 16 so that the mold 71 divides the rear surface of the substrate 11.
At the time of filling the space 19 with the filling material 19, the press-molding portion 73 provided in the mold 71 causes the rising wall 1 of the substrate 11 to rise.
The outer surface of the rising wall 5 is pressed toward the inside of the recess 16 to raise the rising wall 1
After 5 was deformed by inclining plastically or elastically toward the inside of the recess 16, the recess 16 was filled with the filler 19.
Both the rising wall 15 that is plastically collapsed and deformed and the rising wall 15 that is elastically collapsed and deformed are adhered to the filler material 19 in the collapsed deformation state, and the collapsed deformation state is fixed as the filler material 19 solidifies. As a result, the collapse forming portion 15A is formed.
