Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.14C標識化合物、特に14C標識尿素、を投与された人が吐き出す空気中の14 CO2を捕獲しそして検定するのに使用する器具において、短い縁部の一つ以外 の縁部で互いに結合された第1および第2の実質的に平らな長方形のダクト形成 要素を含み、該第1および第2のダクト形成要素はそれらの間でダクトを形成し 、該第1ダクト形成要素はCO2を吸収するためのガス透過性マトリックス要素 を含み、該器具はCO2吸収の検出のための指示手段と、該マトリックス要素と βー放射線測定器具との間に挟まれた又は挟むことができる低βー放射線吸収性 のフィルム要素とを備えた、上記の器具。 2.上記フィルム要素が0.05mm未満、更に好ましくは0.015mm未満 の厚さを有する、請求項1の器具。 3.上記マトリックス要素が、マトリックスと二酸化炭素吸収剤を含む、請求項 1または2に記載の器具。 4.二酸化炭素吸収剤が強塩基を含む、請求項3に記載の器具。 5.上記塩基が水酸化リチウム、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カルシウム、および それらの混合物である、請求項4に記載の器具。 6.上記マトリックス要素が、成人が吐き出した空気の通過により約1−2分以 内に二酸化炭素で飽和されるような設計と二酸化炭素吸収能力を有する、請求項 1−5のいずれか1項に記載の器具。 7.上記指示手段がpH指示剤、好ましくはpH10を越えるとpH変化を色の 変化で指示する指示剤、を含む、請求項1−6のいずれか1項に記載の器具。 8.上記第2ダクト形成要素が、マトリックス要素の反対側に配置されたそして フィルム要素によって覆われた貫通口を有する、請求項1−7のいずれか1項に 記載の器具。 9.閉じた短端部で固定されそして第1の位置で、第2のダクト形成要素の貫通 口を覆いそして第2の位置で第1ダクト形成要素のマトリックス要素を覆うのに 充分な長さの可撓性のフラップを含む、請求項8に記載の器具。請求項1−7の いずれか1項に記載の器具。 10.上記フィルム要素が、閉じた短端部で固定されそして第1ダクト形成要素 のマトリックス要素を覆うのに充分な長さの可撓性のフラップの形体を有する、 請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の器具。 11.指示手段がマトリックス要素に含まれる、請求項1−10のいずれか1項 に記載の器具。 12.上記指示手段がマトリックス要素とは離れて配置される、請求項1−7の いずれか1項に記載の器具。 13.上記指示手段が、CO2を吸収するために第2のマトリックス要素内に配 置されたpH指示手段、特にpH10より大きいとpH変化を指示するpH指示 手段を含む、請求項12に記載の器具。 14.フィルム形成要素に穿孔が設けられている、請求項1−13のいずれか1 項に記載の器具。 15.胃腸管内の酵素活性が増大し、それによって、投与された酵素分解性薬剤 から二酸化炭素を形成することを特徴とする病気又は症状について検査中の人に より吐き出された14Cを捕獲しそして検定するための方法であって、下記を特徴 とする方法: ー該人に、短端部以外のそれぞれの縁部で互いに結合された、第1および第2の 実質的に平らな長方形のダクト形成要素を含む器具の一つの開いた該短端部に吐 息させる:ここで該第1のダクト形成要素は、低βー放射線吸収性の保護要素に より覆われた又は覆うことができる空気透過性のマトリックス要素を有し、該マ トリックスは二酸化炭素吸収剤を含み、該器具は更に、色変化によりCO2摂取 を目で検出するための指示手段を含む、 ー色変化を検出するために上記指示手段を観察し、色変化が観察されると、上記 器具への吐息を停止させる、 ー場合によっては上記マトリックス要素を上記保護要素で覆う、 ー上記器具をβー放射線測定用の装置と接触させることにより、該マトリックス 要素から生じるβー放射線をある期間測定する、 ー登録された崩壊事象の数を、健康な人から得られた数と比較する。
