Abstract
818,493. Mobile working platforms. ACCESS EQUIPMENT Ltd., RUSLING, J. T., and NICHOLLS, J. W. Oct. 24, 1957 [Aug. 28, 1956], No. 26286/56. Class 20(2) A working platform 8 carried by a mobile supporting frame 1, 2, 3 is connected to an intermediate platform 4 by a boom 7 and is elevated by an hydraulic jack 11 connected to the frame, the parts of the frame being pivoted together so that they can be rotated into position during assembly assisted by the hydraulic jack. The assembly of the structure is described with reference to Figs. 3-8 (not shown). The frame comprises a step member 1 and a back member 2 mounted on a wheeled chassis 3 and the hydraulic jack is pivoted intermediately of the step members. The boom 7 comprises parallel members maintaining the working platform 8 level during elevation. A further working platform 10 is mounted above the platform 8.
