Abstract

<PICT:0719289/IV(c)/1> <PICT:0719289/IV(c)/2> In an apparatus for squeezing textile material c after treatment, Figs. 1, 2, inflatable means D are employed to provide the pressure between the squeezing rollers A, B. The roller A is preferably supported by a series of short rollers E1, E2 on shafts e1, e2 while roller B is supported by rollers rollers B1 B2. Air or gas under pressure in tube D causes a channel shaped member d1 to be displaced downward to increase the pressure between the squeeze rollers A, B. The shafts e1, e2 are supported by a series of quadrants F. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), a second tube may be arranged so that increased pressure in the tube causes release of the pressure between the squeeze rollers. In a further modification, Fig. 3 (not shown) the roller B is pressed upward against the roller A.
