Abstract

550,038. Wrenches. HERBERT, H. C. Sept. 3, 1941, No. 11239. [Class 61 (iii)] A wrench comprises a head 15 rotatably mounted in the end of a handle 12 and adapted to be held in angularly adjusted position by means of a spring plunger 21 engaging notches 20 in the head or the plunger and notches may be inclined so that the head may be driven in ratchet fashion. A taper recess 16 in the head is adapted to receive a series of open jaw spanner heads 18 retained by a cross pin 19 or set screw.
