Abstract

280,504. Volet, R. A. L. Nov. 12, 1926, [Convention date]. Funnels.-A funnel which may be permanently fixed to the container it is to fill, comprises a receptacle a having inwardly extending arms supporting a closure member b and a resilient pad d. The part a is screw-threaded on to the nozzle or outlet c and the member b is operated to open or close the nozzle by turning the part a. The funnel may be attached to an engine. The member b may be replaced by a stopper-like part, or by a flap operated by turning the part a relative to the part c.
