Abstract
Aqueous solutions of apple cider vinegar display activity against parasite infestations in mammals. The solutions are for drinking (oral administration).
Description
2355404 PARASITICAL ELIMINATION PROCESS Most parasites that infect men and
domestic animals survive in the host due to the ionic strength of the body fluids. They require supplementation with additional growth and primary survival factors, such as hormones, transport, proteins and trace elements, and essentially the correct pH factors, without such the parasites cannot survive. Traditionally, plasma, which of course is part of the bodily fluids, has been the supplementary transport mechanism to provide these factors.
During parasite separation (using ion exchange chromatography), it has been noted that parasites will only survive in a pH range between 7.0 and 8.0 without any shrinkage or denaturing of the protein outer cell membrane. When there is a drastic change in pH, either towards acidity or alkaline levels outside of the normal pH levels, the parasites begin to die.
Recently, further studies conducted by the inventor, established that even a marginal reduction in pH, (typically down to 6.5 in acidity), that all the parasites die rapidly. The increase in hydrogen ions in an acidic condition alters the protein structures (denaturization of the parasite). The separation of hydrogen bonding from the oxygen atoms alters the structure of the proteins and nucleic acids.
With this obvious but nonetheless exciting observation the next stage was to examine an effective and healthy way of altering the pH in in vivo applications, without creating unnecessary chemical imbalances to the patient. Following exhaustive testing, the following solution was determined. The person suffering from parasitical invasion should drink three hundred (300-ml) millilitres of distilled water with a 1.5% by volume of acidity level of apple cider vinegar, to be taken four times per day. If this regime is adhered to, the infestation of parasites in the patient will be eliminated.

I 1. The use of a vinegar in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prophylaxis of parasite-caused diseases in a mammal.
2. The use according to claim 1, wherein the vinegar is apple cider vinegar.
3. The use according to claim 2, wherein a 1.5% by volume aqueous solution of apple cider vinegar is used.
