Abstract
23,110. Imray, O., [Farbwerke vorm. Meister, Lucius, & BrĀ³ning]. Oct. 19. Anthraquinoneazines are obtained by treating with oxidizing-agents the dyes produced by the action of alkaline condensing-agents, such as alkali, sodium amide, or sodium amylate, or of a metal chloride, such as aluminium chloride, on alpha-di- or a-tri-anthraquinonylamines. According to examples, the dyes obtained from a-a-dianthraquinonylamine or a-a-dianthraquinonyl-1:5- diaminoanthraquinone are treated with sodium hypochlorite. Chromic acid is also specified as an oxidizing-agent. The products dye yellow to orange tints from a vat. The product from a-a-dianthraquinonylamine is formulated as Specification 12,921/10 is referred to.
