Abstract

1494035 Measuring engine oil level VOLVO AB 30 July 1975 [13 Aug 1974] 31808/75 Heading G1N The oil level in the crank case of an I.C. engine is determined by the corresponding value of a resistor transducer 1 and indicated on an existing meter 9 normally indicating the value of resistor 7 corresponding to the fuel level, by operating a changeover switch 4 controlled with the ignition switch 11, whereby the oil level is only indicated when the engine is switched off.
