Abstract

1350861 Knitting VYZKUMNY USTAV PLETARSKY 7 Jan 1972 [7 Jan 1971] 740/72 Heading D1K An at least partly double weft knitted fabric comprises, in the double part or parts, linking courses in which the sinker loops of one fabric ply cross in front of the needle loops of the. other fabric ply while the sinker loops of the other fabric ply are on the same side of the complete fabric. The fabrics may each be plain knitted and the wales of stitches 2 of one fabric alternate with the wales of stitches 3 of the other fabric and the sinker loops 4 of both fabrics alternate. A similar fabric may be connected by all sinker loops in alternate courses. Wales of each of two fabrics may be arranged in pairs, Fig. 5. Double parts of fabric may be connected by cross stripes of single fabric Fig. 6 (not shown) or by lengthwise and cross wise stripes.
