1278063 Flexible pipe joints PLESSEY CO Ltd 18 Sept 1969 [20 Sept 1968] 44768/68 Heading F2G A flexible pipe joint comprises a bellows 6, haying circumferential or helical convolutions, connecting two pipe elements 1, 2, each having pairs of axially projecting lugs 9, 10 respectively, pivotally connected to a gimbal ring 11 which encircles the lugs and bellows. The lugs 9, 10 are pivotally attached to the gimbal ring 11 by means of pivot pins 12 of stepped diameter.
