Abstract

[Also in Division F4] In a flexographic printing machine freshly printed material is dried by hot air supplied by a drying system which is either discharged directly to atmosphere or is recirculated with suitable bleeding for solvent recovery. Through the use of a sorting and metering chamber which is located in the piping of the system and which incorporates a manually operable danger plate, the hot air may comprise nearly 100% recirculated gas or completely fresh gas or mixtures thereof.
