1.057,593. Wall or roof cladding; awnings. NATIONAL DISTILLERS & CHEMICAL CORPORATION. April 30, 1964 [April 30, 1963], No. 18064/64. Heading E1W. A wall or roof cladding or awning comprises, stringer members 111 formed with a series of open slots 116 rebated at each end 116a, 116b, and defining thereby a series of projections 117 each of. which has tightly mounted thereon a panel 123 or 123a of C-shaped section, and a C-shaped sectioned panel 120, 120a or 120b mounted with endwise clearance in each slot 116 with its flanges overlapping the flanges of panels 123 or 123a on each side thereof, the relative dimensions of the projections, slots and panels being such that each of the panels located in slots is suspended under constant tension above the base of the slot by the panels mounted on the adjacent projections.
