Abstract

This device consists of sheets of aluminium or another material, which sheets are fixed and allow light to pass through, reflect the sun's rays and permit a circulation of air (1). The device will be fixed on the framework of the roof of the veranda by means of fastening profiles (2-3) or on the filling material (4). It will be possible for this solar protection device to consist of sheets of different shapes, respecting the basic principle (7-8-9-10-11-12), a single wall or double wall, with or without a filling of insulating foam.

Description

DESCRIPTION
The object of the present invention is the solar protection of roofs of
canopies and veranda
Veranda and canopy roofs, mainly those covered
in glass or plastic components, flat or cellular, or any
other product, have the following disadvantages: significant elevation
of temperature and glare.

Currently the techniques used are mainly the following
- blind placed on the veranda or manual or electric shutter placed on the
veranda, or set of aluminum slats placed on the veranda having a base
articulated with possibility of orientation, or blind placed inside the veranda
or different products or materials such as canisses or mats, in the case
of roofs in cellular sheets, filling with poly type insulating products
stirene or any other product.

The inventor proposes a new technique allowing a very good lowering
indoor temperature, but also suppress glare.

This technique consists in fixing on the top of the roofing boards
fixed aluminum (or PVC or any other material) allowing passage
. of a significant part of the light, but also a reflection of
solar rays, as well as air circulation.

Plate 1, figure I represents five profiles placed above a you
ture. The fixing between the frame and these profiles will be done by profiles adapted to
the framework (fig. 2 and 3), exesnple. of adaptation on roof profiles of the range
SMS.

Other profiles can be attached directly to the materials ensuring
filling the roof: Figure 4, profile adapted to polycarbonate,
figure 5: profile fixed on the rafter in the lower part, figure 6: profile fixed on
the chevron in the upper part.

These different examples demonstrate that we can adapt the profiles in
all frame cases.

The profiles shown in Plate 2/2 are given as an example
(Fig; 7-g-9-10-11-J2) but may have for practical or aesthetic reasons
all other forms respecting the basic principle.

 They can be single or double wall, filled with insulating foam or not.

 The fixing of the support profiles will be done by bundling, riveting, screwing or clipping, they can be adapted to any type of roof: aluminum, PVC, iron, etc.

 The blades are also fixed to the profiles by fitting, riveting, screwing or clipping.

CLAIMS S  1) device for the solar protection of glass roofs or verandas, characterized by the installation on the roofs of fixed strips of aluminum or any other material, allowing the passage of light and reflecting the sun's rays, as well as a circulation air (1).  2) device according to claim 1 for fixing these blades using profiles fixed to the elements of the roof frame (2-3-5-6).  3) device according to claim 1 for fixing these blades using profiles fixed on the filling material (4).  4) device according to claim 1, composed of fixed blades which can have different shapes (7-8-9-10-11-12), single wall or double wall with or without filling of insulating foam.
