Abstract
The dispenser comprises a siphoning screw (1) which removes material from a hopper (3) equipped with a level sensor (36). The screw rotates in a sleeve (5) and at its extremity (6) in an outlet chamber (7) it is threaded in the reverse direction to concentrate the material into a neck (10) and onto a conveyor (11). The conveyor load is weighed by a sensor (14) while the speed is maintained constant. The sensor output is connected to a regulator (15) which modulates a power line (17) to control a motor (8) which drives the screw at a variable speed through a gearbox (9) to control the weight of material.
